I do know what you are saying but each song is 1 of 1 bro
But Diddy did that song for entirely selfish reasons to showcase himself when it was unnecessary, and ultimately extremely costly.

I may be in the minority, but I didn't like the Diddy song at all. But I also didn't like Tha Crossroads. The Original Crossroads is better

The ORIGINAL Crossroads by Bone Thugs

Tha Crossroads that everyone knows

What's crazy is how unnecessary this was. Biggie's version of Missing You was so much better, but Diddy had to put himself in it, and now he has to pay FOR-EV-VER

Biggie's version

They aren't the same song. What I'm saying is puffy miss an opportunity to pump at the very least pump both songs and could have released both videos simultaneously and owned the radio during that period

1. large % of revenue would have gone to Biggie's estate
2. don't know about rest of the country but Bad Boy owned NYC radio at the time -
As a writer, there are some songs that were perfectly written that even your average video director could have turned into video hits of that era.

Notorious Big's Missing U was One of those songs because the lyrics spoke the video into fruition. You didn't even need much of a script. You could have visualized the whole thing. It was that simple. A wasted moment in my opinion

Bad Boy could have run both of them concurrently and owned the radio even more.

Another is The Convo by DMX. Another wasted moment. The lyrics walk you straight through to the video throughout the whole song. Making a video from that song would have taken no effort.

Everybody was just coming off of Bone thugs and Harmony Tha Crossroads, so the God/Jesus rap angle could have hit hard
