I watched it happen for over a month and it progressively got worse until I got the call that his blood sugar was dangerously low.
I remember when I got home, the first thing he told me was “it looks like my rodeo is coming to an end.”
I couldn’t even hold it together. Then watching him die for 3 days was about as painful as anyone could imagine. But I was my his side the entire time. Until his last breath.
There are actually folks on twitter upset at people calling and honoring Chadwick as ADOS/Black American. They say its divisive, and he's just black. Dude was born in and from South Carolina. Even in death, we still get bottom casted.
