Previous story follows with the false accusations against Calhoun:
Che Lajuan Calhoun, 31, appeared in probable cause court overnight where new details in the case against him were read aloud by prosecutors.
A judge denied bond for Calhoun, who will now remain in the Harris County Jail.
He is charged with murder in the death of 11-year-old Josue Flores, a 6th-grader at Marshall Middle School.
Prosecutors say neighbors witnessed the crime. One of them told police that Calhoun was walking on the sidewalk and a struggle ensued the moment the suspect passed Flores, who was walking home from school.
Neighbors saw the boy collapse as the suspect ran away. One neighbor got in a vehicle to chase after the suspect, but he managed to slip away.
Police were able to identify the suspect because he was allegedly involved in an altercation at a bus stop the day before. Calhoun punched another person in front of a METRO officer and was tazed. He ran from that crime as well, but he left his bag with his ID in it.
Officers were able to track down Calhoun and took him into Wednesday afternoon.

"I want him to go to jail for what he did, I want him to go to hell for what he did to my brother," said a tearful Sofia Flores, the victim’s sister.
The boy's sister said he was walking home with just a backpack and didn't have a laptop or cell phone on him. She doesn't know why he was attacked.
Community members say Calhoun is homeless and addicted to drugs. He has a history of violence and a long rap sheet with arrests for assaults on family members, terroristic threats and resisting arrest.
