The mom was proven to be a liar, in reality only one juror refused to admit he was guilty, and according to reports she was a troublemaker from the jump some believe she was a fan.
Sounds to me he fell for the oldest trick in the book, releasing him on, hoping he fucks up and does something to strengthen the prosecutor's case.
I bet every thing on him was tapped and they gave him just enough rope to hang himself.
YNW Melly Hit With New Charges Amid Witness Tampering Allegations
The rapper and two men are accused of solicitation and conspiracy, among other charges.
YNW Melly is now facing six new charges in connection to alleged witness tampering within his double homicide trial. According to journalist Bryson “Boom” Paul and NBC6 Miami, the rapper, codefendant Cortlen “YNW Bortlen” Henry, and a third man, Terrence Mathis, were hit with the charges as part of a five-page, seven count information document.
The crimes the three men are accused of include directing the activities of a criminal gang, unlawful use of a two-way communication device as well as solicitation and conspiracy to commit tampering. The filing was one of Alixandra Buckelew’s first moves since replacing Kristine Bradley, who was recused from the case at the defense’s request, as prosecutor.
Buckelew, who famously helped convict the men responsible for the murder of late rapper XXXTentacion, handed down the charges against Melly, Henry, and Mathison on Wednesday (Oct. 18).
On Tuesday (Oct. 17), Melly appeared at a court hearing in Broward County to determine whether there would be a delay of the rapper’s looming trial due to the prosecutorial change. While the state requested a delay in order to have more time to prepare for the trial, Melly’s lawyers disagreed, citing their client’s right to a speedy trial. The judge ruled that the trial that the trial would continue to move forward, with the jury selection process scheduled to begin on Wednesday (Oct. 18)
Melly and Henry are charged in the 2018 double murder of 21-year-old Anthony “YNW Sakchaser” Williams and 19-year-old Christopher “YNW Juvy” Thomas in Florida. In July, Melly’s first trial for the double homicide ended in a mistrial, with jurors unable to come to a verdict of the rapper’s innocence or guilt.
Jury selection for YNW Melly’s retrial is expected to take several weeks.
Being that it's Florida I have the feeling they must have mentally broken Melly in that other jail and are sending him back as a trophy to let the other prisoners know what's in store if you choose to go against them.
Sept 2025, they are trying to bleed his money dry, and buy more time for the new prosecutor while pressing on folks to fold and snitch.
How the hell could he still have money?
Dude didn't appear to have that level of success or enough time out to stack any money.
Plus I know he spent grip on his three defense lawyers during his first trail.
Right, shouldn't take this long to finish this shit. They just want to keep him in jail longer delaying this shit until next year.
I'm wondering the same thing because them lawyers aren't cheap.
They may be working pro Bono now due to the positive publicity from such a high profile case and the fact that they got a hung jury in the first trial which everyone assumed was open and shut.

But these CAC wouldn't be in there like how they treat a black man with this trial being this long not getting nowhere with a lack of evidence.
