Speaking of box-pressed cigars have you had the Davidoff Nicaragua box-press? Different blend from the regular Davidoff Nicaragua, which is outstanding, but the box-pressed version is truly amazing.

I bought 40 from a tobacco farm. Like 15 cohiba behikes. Partagas, monte cristo, I live pretty close to the j r cigar store that bills itself as the largest in the world. I bought another box of monte cristo Cubans in Dubai on my way to South Africa. Bought some Cubans in Jamaica 2-3 weeks ago.

I've been buying and smoking a lot of cigars. Just bought a teeth whitening kit.

In Hong Kong airport they wanted $150 for one cohiba behike. I considered becoming an importer.

Where do u find that white henny aside of ports of call? Anywhere in Jersey? Im not a cigar smoker. Do u think cubans are worth the hype?
Henny White is only in the Caribbean. I've looked in Africa, Asia, and Europe to no avail. I really should start import/exporting as I get a lot. I just saw a bottle advertised online for $200. That would fund a trip to go buy some. Cubans aren't worth the hype. I've had many great cigars. Maybe my palette isn't as sophisticated as others. Burning leaves all pretty much taste the same. Again, since I have access to Cubans I may as well get them.

Do you have any pics of your Cubans? Specifically, the Behike's? I've been buying a lot of Cubans recently and my buddy and I just split a box of the Behike 52's.

I completely disagree but then again, I'm an avid smoker and definitely don't think all cigars taste the same.

Cubans have a distinctive 'twang' to them and for seasoned smokers, can easily be identified. There's a couple of really reliable online vendors for Cuban purchases.

I have had about 10 Cubans in my 3 year cigar smoking life and if I had to do a blind test between a Cuban cigar and a good one from DR... it would be really tough for me to tell the difference. I can tell the difference between a quality cigar and a cheap one though.

I have to agree... I've had many Cubans and I can say that I'd take an El Rico Habano from Nicaragua over all of them. The Bolivar El Presidente (Cuban) was an excellent cigar though. I may not have a sophisticated palette either. When I hear people say, "There's hints of chocolate and citrus;" I be like, "Where in the f*ck they taste that at?" Now, if its an infused cigar (like those from Drew Estate), I can taste it. Personally though, I think these MoFos just blowin' smoke. No pun intended.

I am right with you. I have no idea how they can taste the changes from "chocolate, to a hint of coffee, to cedar" at all.

Either pm me your phone number or email. Or, tell me how to post pics. I have pics of behikes and Cubans direct from a tobacco farm. Also have pics of wine/cigar humidor. Pics of the tobacco farm. What do you want to see?

Apparently the best way to truly get all of the tastes of cigars is to smoke but also retrohale and blow the smoke out through your nose. Retrohaling allows your nose to pick up more subtle cigar flavors which in turn makes your taste buds pick up the actual different flavors.

I tried last night and could only get a little to blow out through my nose and almost felt like I was inhaling the smoke. Supposedly it will take practice because you have to not inhale the smoke but push it to the back of your throat and up through the nasal passages.

I just thought cigar smokers did it because it looked cool blowing through the nose. It actually has a purpose.

I'm now getting into the habit of blowing cigar smoke out my nose..use mild bodied cigars while practicing

You have a nice selection of Stogies. Let me know how the ROME taste . I'm thinking about firing up a AOK today. I'll post a picture later
Thanks.

I have a Romeo 505 and a Romeo Anejo. The Anejo robusto was the first one I tried.

It was cool it had a sweet peppery cinnamon taste with like a cedar or oak flavor. It was good not too sharp not too dry.

It burned pretty well too.

My AOK had a few cracks in the wrapper.. Had to go with this GREAT FUCKING cigar

 Thats fucking hilarious. Pun intended. Yo I gotta try that. How was this one?

Im saving the AOK for this Friday after I steam my mussels.
