DIESEL SIDESHOW ARRIVES AT STORES

There’s a new sampler of Diesel cigars that contains some of the more unique shapes and sizes of cigars.
The Diesel Sideshow has begun arriving at stores. Inside are eight cigars that are designed to look visually interesting. This includes vitola like a culebra, a lancero that is twisted to form a spiral, a double perfecto and a cigar with what appears to be veins attached to the wrapper.
The cigars use Ecuadorian habano and Pennsylvania broadleaf wrappers over a Mexican San Andrés binder and a mixture of Nicaraguan tobaccos from Condega and Estelí. Like other Diesels, the cigars are made at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Inside each sampler is one of the following:
  • Diesel Frog Boy (4 1/2 x 60)
  • Diesel Pin Head (5 x 54)
  • Diesel Two-Headed Nightingale (6 x 60)
  • Diesel Bearded Lady (6 x 46)
  • Diesel Elephant Man (6 x 52)
  • Diesel Bohemian Twins (7 x 38)
  • Diesel Strong Man (7 x 58)
Technically, Forged Cigar Co. describes this as a seven-cigar sampler, though the culebra release contains two different cigars. Traditionally, a culebra contains three individual cigars.
Forged says the Diesel Sideshow will begin shipping on Oct. 18, though some stores have indicated they have already received the Sideshow. It is limited to 1,000 samplers.

So I stopped by Marcellas in Agusta,GA ,and met one of the owners of GTO Cigars . Never tried them before ,but bought 3 and he gave me 2 others and a lighter for free. We talked about 20 minutes because we're both from the same area in Queens and he attended Edison H.S. . I was always at Edison because my boy ran track and the Jamaica high girls team was always horny.
He talked a Iot of news about the cigar industry. Caldwell cigars had a massive fire about 2 months ago that will affect their brand . The other major news is the price of cigars have been going up but in January will be a huge jump because of hurricanes, covid still affecting workers and back supplies getting low

It's more so because factories are losing employees due to covid & the mass exodus of immigrants to the US. Price increases have already been in the works for awhile pre hurricane. We already have them & the effective dates.

The Ventura factory fire will def impact things, but Caldwell & Room101 that we recently bought should be fine in the long term. The fire will be a short term hiccup.
