I could see from watching this why Cobra Command would be willing to die on the Ezra hill...
This LOOKS like a potential Infintity War level event in scope and quality for DC
James may regret the BEST superhero movie of all time thing
But I felt a connection a fanboy reaction I don't think I EVER felt before for a recent DC project

Keaton's mask is poorly fitted and his reveal was poorly blocked and lit... (opposite of every other shot in trailer)
and they still chose to use that shot in the trailer
I can go on...
the final cut will be good or another Justice League
If can be fixed...
considering time and budget - unlikely
either way DC needs this to make money

I understand their is a FX backlogs but you are correct they had more than enough time to tweak UNLESS Muschietti said he happy as is. Which I'm cool with just no excuses later.

Everything Zaz did was to slash spending and waste
and maintain WB's stock price
they can't write off +$200 million movies (Aqua & Flash). without losing $ billions in stock value
so the show must go on
but
that doesn't mean they are going blow another $100 million on even more rewrites and reshoots
they can survive under performance at the box office
So... Flash doing Black Adam numbers and reviews would be ok with the axe and would garner absolutely no repercussions on the current heads?
I'm saying they need to sell these tickets and they are saying what ever is necessary to keep geeks and casual fans from thinking Aqua and Flash aren't DOA and will have some form of continuity moving forward after these movies

the only writer director I've known to successfully reimagine rebuild and edit a movie w/o doubling the budget and pushing back the release date is Tony Gilroy on Rogue One

But remember Robert Downey Jr when it was announced he would portray Tony Stark/Iron Man.
His career was considered DOA because of his shenanigans in the 80s/90s.
He cleaned himself up and nobody questions today that he is Tony Stark.
We will have to wait and see with Ezra.
