Unfortunately, you got laid off in October and have fallen behind on some of your bills including your rent. You have been living in the same building for about 8 years now and your landlord Ms. Kapoor is usually understanding, and has always given you an opportunity to allow you to "catch up" in the past, but this time things might be different.
