There's a lot of "backdoor arrangements" that go on in the workplace especially when it comes to women and "breaking the glass ceiling." Unfortunately, this applied to Samia Singh a new Attorney that started in September 2024, and most of the men who were in a position to elevate her career agreed that she was "very easy on the eye," and assumed she would be "easy to get in bed" also.
What they were unaware of was that Samia had heard the "whispers," and she played it to her advantage by allowing them to think that in her attempt to "climb the corporate ladder" that she would be wiling to compromise her values and "climb their ladders" too.
You found this out one cold November evening when Samia was working late in her office and struck up a casual conversation with you. And on that fateful day you never imagined that the conversation you had with her would lead you here...

Your introduction to Chara came under atypical circumstances because you found yourself shopping one morning in your local "Keyfood," and required some assistance. You had a taste for some fruit, but didn't know whether to select Clementine oranges or Tangerines and asked Chara who was working the register which of the two was the sweetest?
Chara said that the Clementines are sweeter, but they still aren't as sweet as me. You laughed and she double down by saying that when you place them in your mouth and bite down gently the juices will explode in you mouth.
Thank goodness, it was very early in the morning and no one else was in line because the store just opened. However, playing along you asked her was she referring to the Clementines or herself? She said that you appear to be a brave man and will have to find out on your own.
You were definitely intrigued by her comments and must now find a way to have this question answered.

Uncertainty "kicked in," and to be quite honest you weren't sure how to respond since it was so rare for attractive woman to be openly flirty with you.
So you mustered up an ounce of nerve and invited her to sit down and have a drink with you and you explained how you will get her to expose all her secrets to you over a nice dinner.

That brings us to last night when you were sitting at home watching television and you get a phone call around 9:00 PM. You started to just let it go to voicemail when you looked at the phone and saw that it was Nisha calling. Since you have a good relationship with her you assumed it was work related so you picked up, and Nisha explained that her apartment was freezing because the super didn't turn on the heat (the temperature dropped down to about 9 last night).
Nisha said she was walking about her apartment in her coat and was miserable and wanted to know if you had any suggestions to help her. Now you could tell her to turn on the stove burners and the oven, but you don't want them burning all night (Carbon monoxide). You told Nisha that you did own a heater that would probably heat up her bedroom and before you could finish she asked you could you bring it over?
Nisha lives in Park Slope (a section in Brooklyn) and you live in Harlem, which means you could be talking about a 40 minute ride by Public transportation or 20 minutes via taxi cab (but that is going to cost you some cash). You tried to explain this to Nisha and she told you that you could spend the night with her if you wanted to.
In the back of your mind, you could hear your friends calling you "Captain Save a Ho" if you leave your warm apartment to ride out to Park Slope to help her, but you end up going anyway.
When you arrive at Nisha's apartment you're thinking she is going to give you extra blankets and banished to her living room sofa, but she tells you that you should share her bed since you could provide extra body heat.
However, she says "Don't try anything, okay?"

Nisha said that was not necessary and you relaxed and got comfortable at least for the first 10 minutes until you heard a strange sound. The next thing you know you could feel an added weight on your thighs and when you opened your eyes it was Nisha.

If you ever had any doubts, Jasmine proved to you she was a "keeper" this morning. You had been "under the weather" this past weekend and she came over and was doing her best to nurse you back to health. She knew you were still sick and had you call in this morning, and then told you that the best way to "starve a cold is to feed a fever."
