Lilly was a bit self conscious about some of the weigh she put on while working from home and would often mention it in a self deprecating way. She felt that men no longer desired her because of this and believed she was slowly turning into her grandmother and destine to be alone.

However, you knew that given the opportunity you would prove her wrong, but what you did not know was that Lilly had her own "hidden agenda."

After 40 years on the job, Stanley Richards was finally retiring so his office mates decided to throw a "Surprise Retirement Party" for him at this banquet hall in Queens.

The turnout was pretty good because Stan was generally one of the nicest guys you would want to meet and was a very positive man, also available to lend a helping hand to someone in need.

The party starting around 6:00 PM and you were surprised that not only did the have good food and drinks, but the DJ was actually playing songs that you could dance to (keeping in mind that the crowd was very diverse).

You remember standing around listening to "Poison" by BBD when you were approached by Mehar Kapoor, she is an attorney that worked in Stan's department. Mehar is usually comes off as being "strait laced," but the Apple Martini in her hand was allowing you to see another side of her, a very likeable side if one must say.

Mehar started dancing in front of you and quickly finished her drink and pulled you on the dance floor, and showed you that she could move, inf fact she could move very well. You complimented her on her dance moves and even told her that she looked very fashionable in her dress.

Mehar said: "Thank you, do I look good enough to eat?"

You asked yourself, did she just say what I thought she said? and is this the Apple Martini talking because you definitely don't want to get your signals crossed. Meanwhile as you're trying to process what she just said,

Mehar said: "What's wrong cat got your tongue?"

Ok, she's flirting, but you're still scared to cross the line so after about 2 more songs you're overheated and rather than step outside you figured you'd go enjoy the view from the rooftop.

You "thank" Mehar for the dance and tell her that you're going upstairs to get some fresh air and watch the sun go down. You assumed that Mehar would stay put, but instead told you:

"That, I'm still waiting for an answer to my question that I asked earlier," and she proceeded to follow you to the rooftop.

Your friend Gregory was telling you a wild story about an incident that occurred a few weeks ago. He was attending the Gervonta Davis vs. Lamont Roach fight at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn on March 3 with a former coworker/friend Kamal Jain (they met when they were both writing for a newspaper in Philadelphia).

Because the fight started later than expected Gregory was not able to catch his train back to Philadelphia and would have to wait until the morning. He didn't really have the money to stay overnight in a hotel and he surely didn't want to have to sleep in Penn station and until the trains started running again.

So, Kamal had an idea and called his sister Veda, who lives in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn. As a favor to him, he was wondering if he could spend the night at her place and bring over his friend Gregory (he explained Gregory's situation to her) and she agreed to provide accommodations for them both.

After the post fight interviews Gregory and Kamal caught a taxi cab over to Veda's place (it must have been around 3:00 AM), and had made arrangements for Gregory to sleep in the guest room, but he elected to sleep on the sofa in the living room (Initially, Kamal suggested that Gregory sleep in the Guest room that Veda had prepared for him).

Veda's living room was very large and somewhat cold and drafty and Gregory had to ask Veda for a blanket or two. Veda gave him a blanket, but she could feel the cold air and after some thought suggested that Gregory could come in her bedroom and sleep with her (but, no funny business mister, she told him).

You asked him how did Veda look?

Gregory said that he did find her attractive and if she gave him the "Green light" he was going for it, but he remembered that he didn't have any condoms on him. So, he's laying in bed with Veda and he was trying his best not to touch her and he remembers that she had placed a pillow in between them as a make shift barrier.

Gregory said he was trying to sleep, but she had on this Coconut scented perfume or body wash and the thought of her being a few inches away from him was not allowing him to sleep.

Now, he wasn't sure what happened was an accident or not, but Veda had her back turned to him and all he remembers is that she started moving closer to his side of the bed. Then she grabbed at him and started feeling him up, while he was just laying there (he's not sure if she is dreaming or knows what she is doing).

Before you know it they are having sex and she whispered to him: "Go slow and be quiet because we don't want to wake Kamal."

You met Shanti Bhatt through a mutual friend because you required some Legal counsel regarding setting up an LLC (Limited Liability Company) and being that she was a "friend of a friend" she agreed to assist you pro bono. Although you couldn't afford her, you were at least able to take her to dinner as some form of compensation for her services.

A good meal, some wine and a few "off colored" jokes and she ends up inviting you to a hotel under the premise that she wants you to talk to a friend that might be able to help you with "seed money" whenever you are thinking about starting your business. However, when you arrive there the party that you were supposed to meet is not there in the conference room (located in the lobby).

Shanti suggest that you go upstairs to his room, but tells you when you get to the door of his room that there is no friend and that she didn't want the evening to end so soon because she enjoyed your company.

Shanti tells you: "Relax, I'm not married, don't have any crazy ex-boyfriends stalking me, and believe it or not I'm just tired of meeting some of the strange men I have encountered on dating apps, and you're the first person I've met in a while that I actually feel a connection to."

Due to laziness and just pure stupidity you neglected to file your Income taxes for the last 2 years and after talking to a good friend telling you some horror stories you decided to pay a visit to your local "H & R Block.

This is how you met Harimi Ahmed, Tax Specialist. Harimi was sitting down when you first met her so it was hard to determine what type of shape she had, but you came back to reality when she told you that for 3 years close to about $400. This price quote was exacerbated by the fact that you not only owed the IRS money, but you also owed the State (for all 3 years).

Harimi explained to you that it would probably take her about 2 days to complete each return and that she would call you if she required any additional information from you. The next day Harimi did call you because there were a few forms that you forgot to supply her with and she asked you if you could bring them in to her.

You told her that you would bring the forms in but it might be later that day and she told you that they closed at 9:00 PM. When you arrived at her office it was about 8:50 PM and there was one other worker there beside Harimi, and she explained that she would start on your forms tomorrow. For now, she was just going to walk to the train station, go home, prepare dinner, watch some television and eventually go to bed.

Upon hearing this you invited Harimi to dinner because quite frankly you could use some company too. She agreed and you ended up going to a local Mexican restaurant not too far from her job. Now, quiet as its kept, you're not a drinker and on that rare occasion when you do have a drink you have a tendency to say things that are on your mind. Apparently, this rule applied to Harimi also as she sipped on her 2nd "Tequila Sunrise."

Was it the alcohol that made you say that Harimi's complexion looked almost edible? Was it the alcohol that made Harimi reply that: "It is."

Either way, you stopped looking for excuses after Harimi pulled the sheets back and turned off the lights...
