I voted I won’t vote but I may change my mind and vote Biden Harris even though I think dems use us with Kamala as president all he’ll will break lose. She’s been sounding radical as. Crazy since she joined joe and I wanna see a serious meltdown.

I don’t feel much will change we black folks are a source of food in America we create and others profit. I will say trump kinda brings America back to my younger years I don’t hear much of class, nor gender war talk since the whole country is bent on removing trump and it’s kinda refreshing in a sense. With the dems wining we’ll go back to the constant “what are black people doing right now” talk but I guess you can’t have both.
Well never have peace in America imo they gonna get in our minds and make us hate each other whether though music or dating or whatever it’s just being black in americaz

I’ve Been thinking about it lately and Trump is just a sign of the old and people like that, he’s the guy the conservatives have been wanting for years he’s anti classism and makes low income whites feel wanted. He’s the safe space white people like. Mediocre but still living well, career C average dudes who own companies and make money who hid behind privilege. I see why those white boys scr Jews won’t replace us they want to win without being exceptional.

liberals to a lot of people mean bougie, classism and smart and not everyone can compete in that space so I see trumps appeal.

feel bad for the gop going forward no moderate conservative is getting anywhere near the whites house so I see why trump is stacking the decks now.

imagine the police department’s mandating four year degrees? I see why they mad....

I guess we all need Jesus at this rate the country going craz even with trump gone people will still complain and go crazy. Trump is the outlet to express themselves but those feelings remain with him gone too.

After reading the responses in this thread I now wonder who is in more trouble the country or our people... In my lifetime I can't remember this country ever being in a chaotic state that shows no signs of closure. That includes having walked through the WTC on 9/11 minutes before it was attacked.

We're thinking small, concerned only with our own petty interest. We're not seeing any picture so forget about the big picture. Fam four years ago we could've avoided this clusterfuck of disasters named Trump. All we needed to do was vote. Now we've spent 4 years regretting Trump is the president.

I spoke of the big picture, let's not forget there's also senate seats available so there's no better time to turn the country back to normal. VOTE!

By Any Means Necessary Get Those Votes In Early.

I don't buy the premise that the dems don't benefit us, ACA alone saved my life. However let's say it's true. The dems leave us alone and don't actively work against us. The GOP erodes rights, and still won't do anything. Trump has reversed Obama's fair housing rule. They take no action on climate change, have made things worse in fact, and storms get more powerful each year. They aren't for a living wage, want to privatize soc security, and end entitlements. They are anti civil rights. With a dem DOJ they at least issued consent decrees and monitored local PD's to the extent they could.

Right now we have Trump on the verge of recommending local police deputize citizens so they can shoot us, and they want 4 more years of this nonsense. Just the stuff with USPS might mean black folks don't get meds, get late fees on bills, get checks late, and these folks want more. 40% of black businesses went under because of covid and only dems want to help them, but they want 4 more years of Trump. I get wanting something tied up in a bow with a gift tag that says "To: Black People ONLY" but they are deaf, dumb, and blind if they think black folks in general won't suffer just because they won't. They say "Black people have had it hard and suffered before and survived." Actually SOME of us survived. A lot didn't. So much for brotherly love.

Since we have the electoral college and he is in Cali he is right that his state will most likely go to Biden, but other states thought that last time and Trump won them. In a fair election I wouldn't worry so much, but they plan to cheat on all sides. Right now Trump is openly calling for voter fraud because when they went to court the judge asked for evidence of it if they wanted to proceed. This is not the time to be complacent.

You haven't even had the hardcore non voters hit this thread up yet. Vaiz is semi-sane, just short sighted. The rest are full blown "burn it all down because black folks come out on top" crazy.

Camille, you’re throwing shots but constantly running from any direct questions about the Dems. Now can you answer my questions below?

Camille, Black people have been voting Democratic at a rate of 85% of our electorate for the past generation. Tell me why has this never been done before? And also tell me why you think Biden/Harris will be the ones to do it now if they are elected?

Show me how 4 years of Biden/Harris will make the state of Black America BETTER!! Show me how their current policies will BETTER our collective wealth situation. That's really all the fuck we are asking, but your Demobot ass cannot answer!!

The bitch is on record as saying she doesn't support any Black-specific policies!

And Jim Crow Joe has said the same as well:

Mr. Biden told the People Paper, a Delaware-based weekly newspaper, in 1975: “I do not buy the concept, popular in the ‘60s, which said, ‘We have suppressed the black man for 300 years and the white man is now far ahead in the race for everything our society offers. In order to even the score, we must now give the black man a head start, or even hold the white man back, to even the race.’ I don’t buy that.

And is still about that:

Man. We been here and done that. If they answer they are gonna say a check. And reparations are about far more than a check.
The problem is that if you don t vote for the right people in congress (the ones who authorize spending) how are you going to get any checks?

Black folks literally made the diffrence in placing Biden on the democratic ticket, and now cite that they 'have no choice' but to 'hold their nose' and vote Biden, b/c he is 'better than Trump,' or they keep bullying people by proclaiming that 'there are 'only two people on the ticket now', and ask non-voters why they 'support Trump'.

Fuck you.

Face it, ya'll lacked the imagination during the primaries (when there were more options) to investigate and consider candidates policy positions. You couldnt offset the Obama era optics of 'uncle Joe' b/c your lazy knowledge about policy diffrences were weaker than the propaganda.

Now you want to lock the rest of us into your failure to conceive of a political alternative?

No. Fuck you, fuck your piece of shit candidate, fuck his bought and paid for mammy.

Also fuck your bullshit narrative that the drafter of the 94 crime bill would be better than Trump. It's like arguing that Satan is better than the devil.

Y'all are too blind to see that we already lost.

Trump. Had it been Bernie or Tulsi Gabbard I’d vote dem this round. As of right now, I have seen no evidence in Biden/Harris’ history of enacting policies that would’ve benefited me had I lived in the states they were elected for. Plus, Biden and Harris were at each other’s throats before, now I’m supposed to buy the whole buddy buddy routine? GTFOH. One thing I really and truly want to know is: What specifically did Biden do as VP for 8 years that was truly beneficial? Because Biden had 8 years to prove he could be president.

As for Trump, business-wise his policies have helped me especially when it came to taxes. Is he a narcissist, Yes. Does he care about money more than ppl, Yes. But the one solid thing I can give him is he is pushing for a more self contained nation. Ppl will bitch and complain about anything he does whether good or bad bc of who Trump is. I’m more concerned about what a president can actually get done. When it came to immigration Trump actually had the balls to actually enforce what Obama had been preaching for 8 yrs but ppl gave Trump shit for enforcing it but gave no better option of how to go about it given the influx of illegals. When it came to the COVID situation initially, Agent Orange said to close traffic to China and suspend travel to certain areas ppl gave him hell about, it turned out that fool was right but ppl won’t give him credit. When it came to the trade deals we had with China, instead of getting screwed like we usually do and not saying anything, he put tariffs on Chinese exports which helped shed light on how China was copy or stealing technological ideas that came from US businesses that were working in China; as a result of Democrats shipping jobs overseas thanks to the tax policies that were put on corporations years prior. Trump may be outspoken and w/o tact but the message isn‘t wrong. I don’t care about team mindset ppl have these days. I’m not a MAGA supporter, nor am I a Republican, Democrat, liberal, or conservative. I believe in a balance of liberal and conservative ideas. But given the situation now, I’d rather deal with the devil I know than the devil I don’t know.

this article says it all about biden/harris

Biden, in Kenosha, says U.S. confronting 'original sin' .

KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — Joe Biden told residents of Kenosha, Wisconsin, that recent turmoil following the police shooting of Jacob Blake, a Black man, could help Americans confront centuries of systemic racism, drawing a sharp contrast with President Donald Trump amid a reckoning that has galvanized the nation.

This is what I mean by blinded by optics because of weak political knowledge.

Like Trump, Biden is an enemy. (See 1994 crime bill)

Google his speech where he is arguing a justifications for differential treatment/incarceration between crack and powder cocaine.

When did I say Trump or Biden? I said your enemy is trying to stop you from voting.

So is the solution not to vote?

@eagle force The Jason Black video. Almost EVERYTHING that he said for his list is something that must be done once the candidate that you choose to fight against is elected.

20% public and private sector contracts for black businesses DOES NOT happen unless you get the proper people in place to bend to this. Unless you financially mobilize (which has not happened at a large scale in the black community.

Reparations across the board is a good goal but ONCE AGAIN how do you accomplish this with a candidate running on reparations in this political climate with 7 out of 10 voters being white?

THAT CANDIDATE WONT WIN.

Jason Black talks a lot of sh#t about not asking but demanding but you cant demand by not voting with only 12 percent of the population. You have to demand the right candidate to move (usually by financial support in a stepwise fashion)

Do you honestly think that Trump is going to help us dismantle white supremacy as Jason Black demands?

The solution is to vote for a black agenda that produces tangible outcomes for black people specifically. If this doesn't exist in the field, then don't vote.

So with a 7 out of 10 white electorate you honestly think a candidate will get elected running on a black agenda?

You get your agenda by voting in the candidate that you want to fight against for your agenda. Period. You can t win it based upon not voting with only 12% of the population going against 70% of the population.

Its simple mathematics.

As I said. Failure of imagination.

Whatever your point is, it is unconvincing. In a country where the white vote is equally divided, 12 or 13% can easily shift power to one side and is a great position from which to bargain for a black agenda. Giving up that leverage up front, without demands is stupid. Anyways, my perspective isn't up for debate. i am satisfied with what I have written and am content to move on.

It will still be equally divided when one candidate begins to talk about a black agenda. If you say so.

...as if wide white support for a black agenda isnt historically possible [see abolitionists, civil rights movement, black power movement, etc.]
and it all happened in back room deals (which is how most legislation is accomplished)..... not with abstaining from voting.

The strategy is completely flawed and does not play to our strengths period.
