I think Deion said Shedeur is not coming out. I thing we (Atlanta) will be 3 or 4 in the draft.
A lot of folks in this thread are criticizing Shedeur, he has looked good to me, but I don't have a keen eye.
Man I can see y’all getting Michael Penix

Well u know how that goes, he gotta work on some things but look at this…

Below average protection and little running game

Colorado’s Deion Sanders Says Warren Sapp Will Join His Coaching Staff

Colorado coach Deion Sanders says Pro Football Hall of Fame defensive tackle Warren Sapp will join his Buffaloes coaching staff in 2024.

Although the announcement has yet to be made official by the school, Sanders announced the pending addition during his weekly coach’s show this week.

“I’m excited about Coach Sapp,” Sanders said Wednesday. “He’s a dear friend that I love to life, and he’s going to be invaluable to what he brings to the table … as far as the recruits as well, they’re going to love him.”

Sapp has been around the Buffaloes this year in an unofficial capacity, and Sanders discussed the impact that Sapp already has made when he’s been around the players, included one specific moment earlier this year.

“After practice, he was in the hot tub with the whole darn defensive line, and he was just going over stuff and it was unbelievable. … There’s probably 4,000 pounds in the hot tub,” Sanders said.

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers Warren Sapp looks on from the sideline before a game against the New Orleans Saints at Raymond James Stadium on Dec. 5, 2022.

It’s unclear what Sapp’s official role will be, but it’s safe to assume he’ll play a large role in coaching the defensive line.

The Buffaloes are 4–7 on the season and wrap up their first year with Sanders at the helm this Saturday at Utah, with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m. ET in Salt Lake City. Although Colorado fell short of bowl eligibility, the improvement from one win in 2022 to four this season shows that Sanders’s rebuild is in gear.

Year two will be pivotal for Sanders and the Buffs, and the addition of Sapp to the coaching staff likely will be a boon to the team’s defensive outlook heading into 2024.
Interesting...

I'm not the biggest Sapp fan, but I hope he does wells as a coach for CU.

Not sure that type of marketing works for offensive and defensive linemen. Losing that many games at the end of the year was a terrible sign, and just poor coaching team management.

The team literally fell apart and quit. He has to find a new defensive coordinator, and fast.

They need 4 immediate starters on each side of the ball. It's hard to find eight 4-star freshman that can start day one and make a difference. Especially with their poor line coaches on BOTH sides. If they can get 7 wins next year, it will be a positive turn of events.

Shadeur needs to go to the NFL now. Having two years of bad mouthed interviews from lineman that obviously dislike him won't help his draft stock.

Me and my crew traveled to two games and had a ball. They got crushed both games. Prime ain't getting me next season :roflmao3::roflmao2::roflmao:

This is surprising.

One thing I did find interesting is that in the preseason a tightend named Seydou “Ziko” Traore left because he didn’t see eye to eye with Brewster. Supposedly he is a lights out receiver but struggled with blocking. Then the season starts and a WR is converted to Tightend and they don’t run the ball. I suspect Brewster expected a different offensive scheme than what they used and will use in the future.

He was never going to get any playtime.
Makes sense to me.
Why did he have on No. 2?

Probably didn’t like the fact that they was recruiting the other quarterback

And The backup quarterback look good last night

Yea very I don’t think Coach brew like when he was demoted

At the time Lewis didn’t lose the offensive coordinator role, he wasn’t calling the plays.
In order for Pat to be elevated to offensive Coach, Brew was demoted…

Looking back it makes sense for him to say fuck this I’m out

Here are my assumptions. Colorado only had 9 players committed for the 2024 class. A few things could be in play.

1. They need to make room for what they anticipate is coming in
2. They may have cooled on him.
3. Not knowing who the OC is an issue

The rumor is that Coach Prime is wanting portal players vs high school recruits.

I am concerned about their recruiting efforts but I will give the benefit of doubt until signing day is over

I believe Prime tells recruits/parents the truth about possibly moving when his boys/daughter leave.

NDA's probably protect these conversations

I think what's going on is that some of these other coaches are telling these recruits that Deion is not gonna be in it for the long haul, and after his kid leaves, he's gone. If anything, Deion will use the transfer portal as he moves forward, but this doesn't have a good look to bringing in the best players.

NDA’s would be a NCAA violation so that part would not happen.

I don’t think he would be that dumb to say he leaving. My assumption is they ain’t offering any NIL opportunities
he needs to tell his son to stop flashing watches and shit...how you gonna say NIL isn't a priority when youre actively getting your own kids signed to shit.

I get this as well. Honesty isn't 'dumb' tho. It's a bunch of athletes in portal that are ready NOW that only want a year or 2.

No since in lying to High schoolers waiting on '25.

For elite defensive tackles Prime will have to open the check book. Teams consider DT’s premiums

It going to be a rough couple of weeks for Coach Prime. They already comparing him to the northwestern coach who took over a 1-11 team last year to 7-5 this season

And USF coach took a 1-11 team to 6-6

I know what he’s talking about but this statement isn’t 100% correctly.

Sean Lewis was calling plays with the wrong personnel on the field.
Shedeur wasn’t checking to run because that was what they could so quickly. The plays wasn’t coming in kinda slow, then he had to change them.
I believe this is when things really when south.
Even tho some talking heads wasnt impressed during the games that they won.

This is Hilarious. I can't remember exactly what game it was,but Colorado needed two scores,& SL kept running the ball and everyone was calling for him to be FIRED and when he got Demoted they were saying Coach Prime is crazy. You can't win . SL did some good things, but DE is a really fast kid,but he's really small,so he didn't create enough plays to get him the ball in open space. I wish him the best of luck.”
