The catch by Travis was insane but the ball placement by Shadeur was just as spectacular. That ball was placed in between both defenders. Shadeur’s accuracy is second to none, and I’d take him now over Dak…. :smh:

It's been my experience that the kids want to relate to the coaches and hear how their lives will be positively influenced by entrusting their careers with the coach for the next 3-4 years, not to hear all of what you accomplished individually. Hell, Deion is more of an icon to my generation than these kids...and Nick Saban was the GOAT coach and basically guaranteed his kids a high round shot at the league. If there was anyone who could of told the kids "come see how I do it" because I am not coming to you it would've been Saban...That dude is college football royalty and especially in the south...

when i was a kid i wanted to see those that made it
I would have loved to go to Deions house
seen his fine wife, seen his cars
and tell myself that i want the same shit

We are beginning to see a transition to coaches who have actually played and had success in the league. I don’t think there is any comparison to a coach who can tell a kid I know what I’m talking about because I have been there.

I am old enough to remember when sports casters had never played the game. Now it would be ridiculous to have shows with no athletes who actually played the game. That’s gonna happen with coaches too.

Them boys looking dangerous right now...I cannot lie
The Defense has gotten better every single week. If you watch the well off channel when they post vids of practice, them dudes are clearly hungry and the coaches make sure they stay grounded...especially the line coaches. Loadholt needs to be coaching in the NFL

@DC_Dude are you watching the game? Gus Johnson just said he wants to go on Joel Klatt's show and do the black College sports report. Called out the CIAA and the MEAC..then they cut to commercial

Yup I heard that too! Lol

That actually would be dope though. It definitely would increase the number of viewers for his show

Where is this occurring ? Of the top 25 recruiting classes for 2025, only Marcus Freeman played beyond college...these kids want to get to the league, or at the very least secure a nice NIL bag. They don't care if you made it, they want to know if you can develop them to make it...Lanning, Smart, Day etc are proven commodities when it comes to developing pros...The best WR coach in the nation is at Ohio St and he wasn't terribly succesful in his 7 years in the pros. He can go in anybodies house and secure the best talent in the nation because of his history developing stud WR's...these high school kids aren't fans...
