I was hoping the qb from UNLV would come over but Lincoln got him quicklyDeion better adjust with the times or him and Dabo are gonna get passed up lol. Regarding people leaving: your QB, Trav, top four receivers 2 OL, a couple DL and edge guys, and my 2 favorites on the D #41 and #7...that's a lot even for a top 10 team to recover from so Colorado will have hella work to do to just match this year.
And we can't afford to send talent elsewhereHell, half of SMU's squad are Miami transfers lol...
Miami is going to suck next year without CAM.
Yes, he stated they don’t hit the road recruiting. I forgot what reporter exposed the recruiting controversy. That’s why Prime came out and stated his reasons. So he said he don’t recruit high schoolers , he said his staff don’t hit the road and recruit… this what I’m understanding right
That guy from UNLV didn't impress me when he was playing (44% completion ), his backup that took over showed me more...I think there are better options out there.I was hoping the qb from UNLV would come over but Lincoln got him quickly
That if we couldn’t get jUju
So Miami is going to suffer so much without a top 3 QB in the nation but Colorado is going to be just fine without their top 3 in the nation signal caller ? Every team in the nation who loses a legit starting qb is possibly going to struggle. Look at Utah, they are a top 15 team in the nation if Cam Rising stays healthy. Without him, they are a Big 12 bottom feeder...yup ...look at FSU ...smh

But it was speculation that was the case for a while because no one had seen staff or Prime.
Deion's approach to recruiting:

Deion Sanders explains why he doesn't do in-home visits with recruits
Deion Sanders has made no bones that he's going to do things differently on the recruiting trail as Colorado's head coach.www.on3.com
“I really truly in all my heart believe, parents don’t want me at their house,” he said to reporters in response to the article on Wednesday. “They want to come see my house. They want to see how I live, how I get down. They want to see what I’ve got going on, what God has done in my life.”
This philosophy is crazy to me...I've been around a few high level D1 recruits (Auburn, UGA, Arkansas etc) and a lot of them talked about how cool it was to have Kirby Smart or Nick Saban come to their house and kick it with their families or show up at their school.
Personally it sounds like an excuse for not hitting the road recruiting. It is lazy recruiting. How do you close the gap in talent with teams like Bama, Oregon, Texas, Georgia and Ohio State?Yea I remember this article(well this situation)
The other side of this is, them other coaches ain’t Deion either.
Saban don’t have to worry about the uncle tell him about the fishing hole or assistant pastor having Bible study during the visit and so on![]()
It's been my experience that the kids want to relate to the coaches and hear how their lives will be positively influenced by entrusting their careers with the coach for the next 3-4 years, not to hear all of what you accomplished individually. Hell, Deion is more of an icon to my generation than these kids...and Nick Saban was the GOAT coach and basically guaranteed his kids a high round shot at the league. If there was anyone who could of told the kids "come see how I do it" because I am not coming to you it would've been Saban...That dude is college football royalty and especially in the south...Yea I remember this article(well this situation)

Then convinced the #1 db to come to ColoradoI think people are forgetting that Deion was the dude that convinced the #1 player in the country to come to Jackson State. I think they'll be aight.

Hey Colorado happy you wasn’t inI could’ve hit that receiver in stride, that shit is unacceptable!
This the reason I don’t fuck with college football like that. I can’t stand the skill gap between pro players and some of these athletes in college football.Hey Colorado happy you wasn’t in![]()
