MJ said last night he wasn’t a activist or even followed/knew the black candidate so why would he endorse him and I agree with him. You don’t need a athlete or celebrity to tell you who to vote for. I like them as athletes on the court, singers/rappers on the radio, actor/actresses on tv/movies etc....what they do in their personal lives doesn’t determine how I move

The segment with MJ talking to Rod Thorn about being on the Dream Team told it all. Thorn calls MJ and asks if he wants to join, MJ says “who’s gonna be on there”, Thorn asks what does he mean, MJ again asks “who’s gonna be on there”, Thorn pauses and then says “well that guy you’re referring to won’t be on there”. They then cut to MJ being interviewed about the Olympics and he tells the interviewer “No Isiah Thomas questions”. THENNNN I think they cut again and MJ says something like “they wanna say I had something to do with him not being on there when I asked that question BUT I NEVER DIRECTLY SAID HIS NAME”...lol
Why doesnt MJ just have the balls to say he didnt want Isiah there period end of.
because It would’ve caused a lot of controversy, you would’ve had Isiah fans and Jordan haters teaming up saying “this is supposed to be a team of tge U.S. best players not who Michael Jordan likes”

They should do those things if they believe in that cause, NOT because people want them to. Like MJ said he wasn’t into politics or an activist so why would he pretend to be? i don’t think he regrets it because he knows if he had did what those people wanted him to do he would’ve had to continue doing it. To me The people who need validation from someone they admire just because they are famous are lost, you should be able to think for yourself and decide what you agree with, not say “oh MJ likes him so I do too”

Again publicly it was the U.S.A. team not Team Jordan so no way could he be out there saying “I don’t want him on the U.S.A. TEAM. By Rod Thorn leaving Isiah off to appease Jordan he made it that way but MJ couldn’t say he was the reason for it
