cigarettes are essentially paper filled with chemicals. I would not call what's in that paper wrapper, natural tobacco.

There are approximately 600 ingredients in cigarettes. When burned, cigarettes create more than 7,000 chemicals. At least 69 of these chemicals are known to cause cancer, and many are toxic.
Many of these chemicals also are found in consumer products, but these products have warning labels—such as rat poison packaging. While the public is warned about the danger of the poisons in these products, there is no such warning for the toxins in tobacco smoke.
Here are a few of the chemicals in tobacco smoke and other places they are found:
  • Acetone—found in nail polish remover
  • Acetic acid—an ingredient in hair dye
  • Ammonia—a common household cleaner
  • Arsenic—used in rat poison
  • Benzene—found in rubber cement and gasoline
  • Butane—used in lighter fluid
  • Cadmium—active component in battery acid
  • Carbon monoxide—released in car exhaust fumes
  • Formaldehyde—embalming fluid
  • Hexamine—found in barbecue lighter fluid
  • Lead—used in batteries
  • Naphthalene—an ingredient in mothballs
  • Methanol—a main component in rocket fuel
  • Nicotine—used as an insecticide
  • Tar—material for paving roads
  • Toluene—used to manufacture paint

You’re right

I see why Kraus didn't want to invest money long term in to Pippen
Pippen has to have the record for the worst NBA contract in history!!!! He outplayed his contract value after a year. MJ should have gone to bat for Scottie IMO, but Jordan seems like a hard line guy. Like, that's the contract you signed, now live with it.

For real, Mike got a barf bag on the bench and a diaper on the court and he can still play.

But Scottie gets a headache one game and backache the other and he’s done. :smh:
:roflmao3: :roflmao3: The back one I understand, but that headache, c'mon Scottie.

No, Mike had a contract that was bad also. Mike made no more than 3.5 mil a season until he came back from baseball.

Magic also had a 25 year contract for a mil a season.

It was common to get long term contracts back then.

And compare the salary Scottie was making to what they were making in the 80's. A third of Bird's money was made in one season in 91-92. Isiah never made over 3 mil.

Scottie was just caught in the middle of the salary jump because of Mike and what he did for basketball. He benefitted, because he made a ton with Portland and Houston.

after the 98 season, i think they could have made another run, the lockout would have helped them out alot far as rest. 50 games instead of 82 is big difference. They should have rode it out, mike still bitter about that, damn, and me too lol.

-And on another note, i didnt see not 1 black person in the crowd at Utah smdh.

So I wonder why Scottie was so disgruntled. Sounds like he was getting fair market value for the time.

I guess he felt he should've made more in those final years when Jordan was really cashing in.

When he signed it it was good, it's just that it was so long, by the time it was over he was underpaid. That always happens. I think it was an ego thing, and also the fact that they were winning.

I assume Ron Harper still has a stuttering problem and didn't want to be interviewed... would have liked to hear his insight... even his kobe mike comparison as he won chips with both would be interesting.

My final take...
Mike was is relentless savage... from hall of fame speech to this doc... he seemed to really enjoy being the best and letting you know it like a fighter getting revenge from a fluke knockdown. It's a good lesson on maximizing talent and refusing to ever lose physically and mentally...ever. I dont think he can turn it off. And his personal trainer should have been as high paid as him... playing at that level without injury is what's truly amazing... Tom Brady and Jerry Rice, Lebron are in the conversation, but playing high level offensively AND defensively and being the best in the sport at both ends without no major injury (except the start of his career) is just a different, 1 in a billion, level athlete.

Bob Costas and Isiah Thomas were the worst play by play and color commentary combo in modern NBA Finals history; I thought this 22 years ago and I still think the same today.

Marv Albert was the one that should have called that last shot...Bob Costas described MJ in the best and shortest way possible when he said "Michael Jordan is supremely talented overachiever" I will never forget that..

Costas is a baseball natural but hoop ain’t his shit. I think Marv Albert had caught a charge for dressing up like a bitch and biting chicks so he was off NBC and Costas had to fill in. Thomas; I’ll, give him this, even with the animosity between him and Jordan and not being a commentary or color guy by training, he was a professional that whole series and objective as hell; he was not helped by Costas imo.

Couldnt have said this better myself...Marv would have "YES!" when Jordan hit that shot, but Costas wasn't bad with that "Chicago with the lead!" Jordan let the hand hang there for a bit...

Ive been telling people that that Indiana Series gave them all they could handle and that team was loaded...Krause would have had to draft more talent Jason Caffey and Cory Blount were trash...Dickey Simpkins..nahhh...they were always winning so they were picking at the bottom of the first round so the draft wasn't as deep as it is today..

The reason Jordan ate all the pizza by himself is because the other guys had dinner already and Jordan said they couldn't have any and he spit on the pizza

I have been doing some extensive research into Bill Cosby purchase of NBC and the Browns as the catalyst for shooting death of his father. It was a warning message to stay away from HWC by wealthy black athletes.

They are claiming it was due to gambling debts but if you look at the timeline, it would make sense to strike at Michael Jordan who was projected to become a billionaire athlete. After that they doubled back at Bill Cosby himself and his son.

They did interview Ron Harper. He talked about the game the bulls had with Cleveland when Jordan hit the shot over Ehlo.

in a previous week on the Jalen Rose podcast, the director said there would be some revelation on the players hated Krause so much in the final episode, I didn't see that
also last week on the same podcast, he said there would be some final words from Larry Bird about the whole story, didn't get that either
I guess some calls came down to leave stuff on the cutting room floor

He wasn't messing with rap early.

Maybe it's because he was from North Carolina.

:hmm:

Nigga Im from North Carolina and done dropped hella rap music on the board. Some of raps early pioneers are from NC. Mike is just a coon that doesnt like or relate to black culture. Simple as that. I bet its a ton of white artists he likes and listens to.

Are you almost 60 like Mike?

If so, the way you act on this board is even worse.

And what rap pioneers are from North Carolina?

Bruh, just stop it. Disco King Mario is one of hip hops early pioneer DJs and was from Edenton, NC, ask @BDR he know who he is. Bobby Robinson, CEO of Enjoy Records based in Harlem, started Grandmaster Flash, Doug E Fresh, and Kool Moe Dees careers was from Union, SC. A lot of early NY rappers have NC and SC roots like most black American NYers. How you think NYers were spinning obscure southern soul and funk records at partys?

So again, Mike not liking or relating to rap in the 80s has everything to do with him being a coon that hangs around nothing but whites and nothing about being from NC. NC has ALWAYS fucked with rap.
