I honestly dont see why black men on BGOL have a problem with this woman.... she's doing all the things you all claim you want from black women.
She's submissive to her man
She lets him lead her life and career
She follows his lead
She's good at what she does...(whether you like it or not is subjective but but there are actors and comedians who would KILL to have her career credits)
I've never seen her dog black men as a group...she may have issues with individual black men but as a group I've never seen her say or act like black MEN aint shit.
And now she's asking her husband if she can have sex with women (something I'm willing to bet he'll have an ancillary benefit from) and I Charles Barkley guarantee! some of you niggas will find ways to nitpick/hate on it

Well, she's crass, coarse, vulgar, classless, and unfunny to start. She uses all the worst black stereotypes in her act and really, that shit is for the 70s. We are losing the war. We have no time to laugh at caricatures that reinforce the worst black stereotypes.
As for her personal life, I could care less what she or anyone else does.

The Chappelle show did not end because he was burned out. It ended because he didn't like the direction the show was going in. with that $50mil came a team of writers That were fucking up the show so he quit.

Saying others are doing it doesn't make it any more right or palatable. Or funny.
I told myself that I'd watch to see if her uproar was worth it for us the viewer.
Side-note: It'll take me a couple of days to watch it because I don't wanna sit there and watch for an hour plus.

She's from a school of comedy where she believes that being a Black comedian means that you need to cuss a lot. And she cusses a lot to the point it's ridiculous and hard to watch.
Damn near can't complete a sentence without a muthafucka this, a nigga or bitch that.
It's a rough watch after only 20 minutes.
But that's here and her style so her fans "Should" like it.

I don't mind a comedian cussing a lot as long as the jokes make me laugh.
These are grown folks jokes and not kid jokes to where they have to be PG all the time.

Also cussing is to amplify a joke or to explain something, not every other word or every word to tell a joke.

Most comedian tell jokes with almost cussing every time word for word.
I don't have a problem with how a comedian produces their routine even if they cuss all night in every sentence they speak as long as their material is funny.
Audience liked her comedy routine which is all that matters.
I've watched some of it but not all of it and will watch the rest soon.

Cool, but I'm not new to watching comedy, I've watched a lot black comedians for yrs old and new.
So, like you said some people might not be used to hearing her cuss so much through her routine, word for word.
Then some people don't think she's funny.
So, it's more about the material they have that should be funny even if they're cussing in it.
So, your point is saying she's doing too much with cussing so much.
But, I'll give a thorough opinion about her comedy special when I watch the whole thing as well.

Oh just to be clear. I'm a fan of hers. I think I've seen all her routines. And the little tiny end clip I saw it seemed to be her USUAL act. But even in that clip I could sense she may have been a little extra.
But I will give my thoughts on THIS specific comedy special seperate from her USUAL ACT and then seperate from a discussion on using cursing in comedy cause THAT to me is an interesting conversation (which I feel has already been covered on here).
I finished thought that I'd finish it tomorrow breaking it up in 20 minute increments but I finished it today.
Again as a fan of hers, I look forward to hearing what you have to say.
And I'm not one of those people who watch things just to critique, I watched to see what it was about and if it was worthy of all of the fuss.

Shit was dry AF to me, personally, perhaps my expectations were too high. Thought i would laugh…at least once… she was overboard with it. Had she been touring with this set? Wonder if it was tweaked and rewritten… seems like a first draft or some shit. Yes, she’s always cursed but it wasn’t the point of her whole shtick, it was weird. The girl on comedy hype said “well Bernie cursed a ton” he sure did. But his inflections and enunciation was what made him so damn funny- he had wit, from this special Big Mo trying too hard
