The Sgt. could have simply had the original officer recontact the victim / woman, take a written statement from her, and in a supplemental report form write the incident up as an, SC 459pc [ Suspicious Circumstances Burglary, Cali Penal Code] and be done. The Sgt could / should have explained to the victim that crimes are based on the satisfying of certain "elements" of the alleged offense, the use of "force" "however slight" does satisfy the element requirement, since force doesn't mean obvious forced entry ie, a broken window or pried / destroyed door-jamb. Therefore, merely opening an unlocked door satisfies the force element, even though merely opening the door usually doesn't leave any clues, so the woman was correct. Hence why you write it as an SC situation, everybody gets what they need and the officers provide decent and accurate service!!!

There are so many sisters at the brink of insanity, most of them don't go as far as to do anything as heinous as shooting innocent people, but the rate of angry frustrated and delirious black women are ten times that it was back in the '90s. It's like they are stuck in a loop of shopping, showing off, then shopping again, 20 shoes is not enough so they buy 30 then 40 then 50 and still not able to find that allusive happiness, that materialism promises, and in the end when they realize they've been duped, many of them lose it.
