It's kinda crazy how out of touch he is with business concepts in general. I'm at the point of asking myself if he's doing some of this dumb shit on purpose... and how tf is he "running" Tesla?
Lately, or at least on social media/twitter, musk has been running trump's playbook by saying things he knows are patently false, simply because he has followers that don't care for facts.

How does a guy who has an entire business based on energy(that's what Tesla is not fucking cars) not know about Bitcoin and energy? That was the ultimate troll job, but it went over heads of most people because they don't like bitcoin/crypto.

I agree with all that. Never liked twitter, and never had an account. I've always been distrustful of any news, information or purported facts posted there first. It gives too much oxygen to erroneous information, propaganda, and outright deceptions. A big lie told by a big personality is around the world in a split second before anyone has a chance to counter. It doesn't matter who owns it, they'll feature those post which generate the greatest response from readers, hold their attention the longest, and keep them coming back. Sensational snippets right or wrong, accurate or not. That said, most traditional, mass media companies are nearly the same. The European Union has threatened Elon Musk's Twitter with a ban unless the billionaire abides by its strict rules on content moderation, setting up a regulatory battle over the future of the social media platform, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday.
EU industry chief Thierry Breton made the threat during a video meeting with Musk on Wednesday, the FT reported, citing people with knowledge of the conversation.
Breton told Musk he must adhere to a checklist of rules, including ditching an "arbitrary" approach to reinstating banned users and agreeing to an "extensive independent audit" of the platform by next year, according to the report.
Twitter and the EU did not immediately respond to Reuters' requests for comment.
Breton had previously urged Musk to comply with landmark EU rules against online hate speech and disinformation. The European Commission's justice chief Didier Reynders had also voiced similar comments.

Musk isn't very smart he's just been lucky enough to have a rich family that allowed him to buy companies. However if you look at his companies none of them do very well. Tesla isn't profitable except when they're selling carbon credits.
Musk surrounds himself with yes men that don't tell him when he's fucking up and these nerdy white dudes that worship him like he's Tony Stark have him believing their bullshit.
