No doubt. Trump's whole campaign was based on quid pro quo. Musk is just the most the most obvious example.
However, Musk is a loose cannon becoming more unstable by the day. Meanwhile, Trump built much of his fame and fortune as an informant for the National Enquirer. When The African has outlived his usefulness he will be taken down with words far more powerful than any bullet.

Before if you did not want to marry someone or go through a long application process you could open a business and hire people but now just need to pay.

I'd think that the US would want wealthy, skilled, talented, and or resource rich people as citizens. Assuming that they aren't obviously bad people. They could increase our resources, wealth,and tax base.

Interesting take. I wonder how many successful businesses were created because of the founder's desire to be a US citizen. I'd think that if someone was using business creation as a loophole top be a citizen, they wouldn't be motivated for the business to be successful long term. The main ways i've seen or heard of people fast tracking their citizenship was marriage or joining the military. Currently, there is a massive backlash from US born tech workers against visas. Primarily to Chinese and Indians. They are blaming them for the layoffs and lack of jobs in Tech right now.

If the government really wanted more skilled workers, they would create programs that would give its citizens those skills. How many high school kids graduate and have no clue what career field they want to get into?
