Still think you're looking at a curve?

Or is that just another wide angle distortion?

40K aint nothin but a 5K ft difference from a regular flight. You see a straight horizon at 35K and a curved one at 40K?? According Road Rage you gotta go way higher :rolleyes2:.

you and the video mean 30,000 feet less than 6 miles
3000 miles would put you in space

My bad you are correct.... I had a brain lapse for a second.

Notice how easy it is to admit that a video on YouTube is wrong and that another person is right...

At 40k or 7.6 miles you should see around a 5 degree bend which is much less than the basketball that I posted, however if you were looking at it with your normal eyes (stereo vision) the degree would be much more perhaps a 10 degree bend... with a good 24 mm lens you could also get around a 10 degree bend...

Then how come we don't see a curve from 24 miles up?

This has to be mentioned as well. We have to look at word etymology. So the word for the day is Planet. A plane which is the root word found in Planet. So looking in a dictionary one would see that a plane would be defined as a flat place. So I think the ancients who did not have the technology called Earth a Planet because they had a flat Earth geocentric view. I do not subscribe to the flat earth theory and I am cool with calling Earth a world instead of planet.

explain that or diagram so I'm sure I understand you

For the record I should have been more precise. Light can and does travel in a line but it can be bent as well under certain circumstances. Light itself is a wave which is a kind of spiral and that was the point I was trying to make about light itself.

You're still assuming we're in "space".

Just like Neo assumed he was still breathing air.

You're still making a lot of assumptions based off a ball earth model.
this fucking lunkhead said WE are making a lot of assumptions.

You gotta love this kind of staunch, proud ignorance.

Okay, so you said at 40K feet the bend is 5 degrees?

And what's the bend at 24 miles? (weather balloon)

And what's the bend at 200 miles? (ISS )
Do the math to see half of the earth you have to be at least 1979.5 miles away...

Maybe because the human eye is limited?

Light travels in waves or in a spiral fashion, yes. We can't see it because it moves too fast for our eyes to perceive it, yes. Does light move in an omnidirectional pattern? Yes.

Therefore...

And since light travels omnidirectionally,

This makes sense.

Not from 93 million miles away tho...

This nigga gotta YouTube every question lol

As if fucking YouTubes with weird music somehow hold more significance than centuries of scientifically observed, tested, and peer reviewed study. Libraries full of books.

This nigga pull out the YouTubes.

You damn dummy lol

Yeah, yeah. You think planes fly thousands of miles above the earth. :rolleyes2:

Cause that's damn sure what you co-signed.
