He even pointed out something that I had previously halfway misunderstood about lens distortion and the sun, which I was still right about, the sun does get smaller as it gets further away but it also doesn't vanish into a tiny dot because at a certain point it will still dip below the vanishing point of the horizon.

Next he asserts that all the lines would converge to one horizon spot, this is something no one questions, even on a flat surface, then he cleverly adds on some extra retard sauce, by suggesting that there will be a point beyond the horizon, no it wouldn't on a surface the size of the earth there anything above the earth would always be in view, and to see it would be a matter or zooming in or providing enough light...
So in other words if an object were to appear to disappear in the horizon, it would be like a star that is so far in the sky horizon that you have to either zoom in and/or use some other detection to enhance the light signal...
No way would you be able to see fading objects by flying a drone higher or as in the case of a sun that just set on the beach, simply by standing up..

The reason why the guy in that dumb video suddenly declared that the Earth size is infatuate, something even the dumbest of dummies would have to question, is because this is the only way (this or a extremely large planet) that the suns photons would completely disappear in the horizon...
Remember as long as there is a line of sight from the earth to the sun, as demonstrated in the flat earth mock up of the planet, you should always be able to see the sun, albeit a much smaller version of it..
For an example you can see stars who are million of light years away, due to the fact that you can actually produce a strait line from your eyes to that star.
Like wise if the earth is flat and the sun is always above there will always be that straight line..

Listen as long as there is line of site (as in the case with the sun directly above a flat planet) there is no way possible for the sun to dissappear under the horizion... Now its possible for it to appear smaller, if the planet was extremely large, but it would never appear to be smaller than any of the stars in the night sky who are millions of light years away... That is unless our sun were to travel that far away from us..
Even if this were the case, as long as there is line of sight (nothing obstructing or getting in front of) on a flat earth the sun would always remain visible even at night, especially from a tall plateau such as a tall building or mountain..
