If the Sun only rotates across the direct top surface of the earth, then that means that the underside of the earth would get zero heat from the sun. Since we obviously don't have a core under the flat earth theory, then that means that the underside would be as cold as space. Space can be negative -455 degrees . Which would mean that the magma closest to the bottom layer would instantly freeze, while also freezing any layer flowing on top..... since magma wouldn't be able to rotate in a circular pattern to prevent it from hardening. So this would create a layer cake effect..... until magma finds an area to escape or it hardens. Under this theory there would be only one area of escape (the sunny side), as the layer of crust on the underside of the Earth would be completely covered in frozen magna (an iron shield effect). Hell under this approach, there is no way that Humanity would be alive as all of the magma would have escaped to the surface millions of years ago when the continents were forming. So technically we should be in a river of lava right now.
Also how in the world do we even have magma under this Flat Theory. Magma is only created and sustained due to pressure (gravity) and the Earth's rotation. You can't create pressure with a purely flat surface and you can't sustain magma without spherical rotation. Magma isn't like water... it will harden if it doesn't move. Since the Earth isn't rotating under the Flat Theory, then magma can't be sustained.. meaning there can't be any geothermic energy. Without geothermic energy, you can't have volcanoes, steam plants, or even hot springs. But I've seen a Steam plant and I've definitely been to the hot springs in Arkansas. So how is this theory still possible.

It has to do with perspective.
Nobody responded to the lens video I put up which is key in understanding perspective.
To answer this, I first want to make clear how lenses distort perspective.
50-70mm is the focal length that is said to be about the same focal length as the human eye.
Wide angle lenses distort images by expanding the focal length, while telephoto lenses distort by compressing the image.
Right now, we are looking an image that was either shot with a telephoto lens OR was cropped from a lesser focal length.
Now, before I go further, does this make since or does it sound idiotic?
