Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

Writers "lets give everyone a random death since the series is ending"
Wait a sec... You was BITCHING when all those characters survived the Army of the Dead. Now you BITCHING when they don’t survive a whole city being burned to the ground around them while everyone has their own agenda.

Sounds to me like it’s ‘sour grapes’ that the show wasn’t predictable... and did not kill everyone in the episode you thought they would have.

I feel the same way bro. All my friends LOVE the shit. But they are bandwagon watchers.
I put years into this shit and followed up on countless hour of history.
The shit is literally unravelling in front of me into some amateur shit.

Yeah I’ve got major problems with this season... in a way it feels like it’s undoing a lot of the heat that was built from the earlier seasons...

They really should have give this season the typical amount of episodes ... so everything wouldn’t feel so rushed..

Like the white walker battle should have been at least two episodes... then you spend the rest of the series fighting for the ground.

Give the Gold Company a reason to throw down their swords during the fight.. like say Cersi debt to them is too much and the board feels like it’s time to pull out... have a couple scenes showing that.. or scenes
Danny and Jon.. coming up with a plan to take out the fleet sense everyone expected her on a dragon.

Right! It is like the whole Qyburn and the crossbow scene didn't happen.
If the writers are going to act like it didn't happen, why did they even include the scene?
How did it move the drama along?

They STAY doing shit like that.

I thought he was going to redeem himself, because he finally realized she was evil when she just tried to kill his ass

It's like neither him or Tyrion even acknowledged that if Bronn wasn't a shiesty greedy muthafucka, they would be dead.

It's like that shit didn't even happen.

that wasn't the gold company - it was Lannister soldiers

gold company position outside the walls was stupid as fuck

why no gold cloaks (city guard)?

This might be one of the reasons she did what she did according to some people in order to spare her soldiers.
It is just a thought of what is being floated out there right now.:dunno:

"Daenerys chose violence and torched the hell out of King's Landing. But we didn't only see red hot dragon fire as the city burned-there was some green fire in there as well. That's because as we saw in spectacular fashion at the end of Season Six, Cersei has a shit-ton of wildfire hidden beneath the city. While it's never spelled out in the episode, it's likely that Cersei had placed stores of wildfire throughout King's Landing as a last line of defense."

Her soldiers just got burnt to a crisp though lol
they burned too
Jon had to get them out of there barely before they were gonna get burned
Arya narrowly escaped while dothraki were getting BURNED

Dany was a villain from the beginning
Team Dany who was she coming to King's Landing to save? Or free? Were Cersei's subject under cruel rule? Looked mighty healthy to me if she ain't have to fight an upcoming war against dragons
Why was Dany there?
The last time someone from her family ruled how'd that turn out? That WASN'T THAT LONG AGO REMEMBER lol
it was literally in HER LIFETIME

This shit JUST HAPPENED

Her father tried to burn the city he was mad

20 years later his daughter comes back with a dragon and burns the city
lmaoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

She wasn't even looking for them last week. If she knew the scorpions were a factor then, we wouldn't have even gotten this episode.

This time she came in at damn near a 90 degree angle then went low and dropped that mf into sport mode.

But they used them against her in the battle last season that almost took her out...

She obviously knew they were in play...

And the 90 degree angle part makes no sense when all of the ships had scorpions and were located at multiple parts...

It’s not like she came in smoking fire... niggas had a good moment to aim and fire at her.. yet they all missed...

I had to go back and rewatch it... and nope... there is no way this should have worked....

And then how did she get over and blast out a hole from the other side of the wall...

So are you telling me that she was now inside the city and no one said... hey she is behind us... fire your scorpion.

Varys called Tyrion "Old Friend". Sorry but that wasn't believe to me. They didn't fuck with each other like that.

Also I despise Tyrion now. He really is unlikeable. He should die next episode.
You forgot that Varys had sold Tyrion out during his trial for killing Joffrey. Varys did that shit to stay alive.

So tonight, Varys got a taste of his own medicine. Tyrion sold him out to stay alive.

What goes around....

I remember that very very clearly.
Tell me how they were friends though?
Tell me any real scenes where they ever spoke except for last episode.

Varys helped Tyrion escape kings landing in a box when he killed his father. Maybe that’s why you don’t like the episode. Your missing a lot

The Golden Company were some of the greatest fighters ever.
They went into battle on Elephants.
Harry Strickland didn't even use his sword ONCE!
This^^^ in the books they hyped them up but in the show they were wood going into a wood chipper :smh:

I hope now that Jon Covington and Aegon got them, GRRM will do them justice in the books

@TENT claims to have read the books, all the supplemental material and watched the entire series from the beginning but needs to be reminded constantly of events or have the most basic shit explained to him.
