All you cats talking about bad writing now this was bad. Killing Daenerys in the first 20 mins. Then nothing happening for the last hour. Setting up Jon to be king for years then abandoning that setup. Making Bran king when it was never hinted at, no arc pointing him there.

All they had to do was finish what they had setup instead of trying for gimicks.

I'm not going to complain.. At least not yet

I am thoroughly pleased right now.
It wasn't the ending that I was expecting, but I thought it was handled beautifully.

Yeah what this reminded me of was if yo friend told you how a story goes (GRRM) and you try and recreate it based on nothing more than what he verbally told you no nuance or fleshed out expansion.

How did they build the wall back
They didnt. Jon went back to Castle Black. The wall was melted down at Eastwatch by the sea

Did yall notice the forest scene at the end was very similar to the very first scene in season 1 where the men of the Nights Watch first encountered the White Walkers.

So it's like Jon and Tormund are reclaiming the land north of the wall for Humanity.

Nice touch at end. The rest was shit tho

So did Jon say fuck the Nights Watch?
Garbage. So they send Jon to the wall to guard from what? Gonna be a bunch of little Targaryens running around in the North.
why do you still need a nignts watch?
There is no Night’s Watch. :smh:
The Wildlings were manning / waiting at the Wall.

Tyrion used the excuse of the sending him to the Night’s Watch to ‘banish’ Jon from the 7 Kingdoms, to avoid another war between those who were loyal to Dany (like the Greyjoys, Dothraki & Unsullied)... and the others (like Sansa / the Starks & Lord Royce / The Vale)

The Wildlings went back North of the Wall. And Jon went with them.

“You belong in the North, Jon. The REAL North.” - Tormund

^^ Exactly. And notice how the green grass poking through the melting snow. Which indicates that the North was going to have a Spring, and would even become ‘green’ like the South. No more permanent ice/snow.
