But that keeps the wheel going and the story never ends. Just the same shit.I knew this season would be rushed from a while back and felt people were being excessive with the on and on ranting....this final episode though...the unsullied didnt kill Jon? unbelievable....nah, somebody just didn't feel like doing a final battle against Dany's forces
DisagreeAgreed.I liked this episode.
The ending tied all the storylines together & had plenty of ‘call backs’ to past seasons.
Joffrey once insulted Jaime by saying: “Oh look Uncle, someone forgot to write down all of your good deeds.” And it was fitting that Lady Brienne was the person to write down all of his good deeds.
Sansa did ‘sell out’ Jon tho. Because last episode she told Tyrion: “What if there is someone BETTER (than Dany)?? Because she was trying to get Jon to claim the throne...
But this episode she agrees to ‘banish him’ to the Wall.... so that SHE could rule the North alone. She wanted to be ‘royalty’ ever since season 1... and now she finally got it... by stabbing Jon in the back.
I like the new Small Council.
Podrick finally became a real Knight.
Sam finally became a real Maester.
Tyrion finally paid Bronn everything he owed him.
Greyworm decided to head to Naath, to find another Missande.
Jon got to go back to the North, where he felt most ‘at home’... and reunite with Ghost.
She and Cersei had the easiest paycheck this season.bitch was queen for bout 15 mins.... then gets killed... smh
double overtime
I'm glad I didn't stop watching the basketball game for this shit
bruh
This was some bullshit
I thought this season was the only truly weak one that the show ever had. But I really loved the character send off moments. And I love the idea of a New Westeros being the ending note. The great houses took a beating over the last 8 seasons, so it makes senses that the country that goes forward is a different one then what came before. I really love the idea of Jon going back to the wall and starting a new era of the Night's Watch where they help displaced free folks find and settle new lands instead of being at constant war. Who's to say that a hundred year from the ending, there could even be open trade between free folk and the North. With Jon and Sasha having ushered in a new way of thinking.
That ending was beautiful. It might not have been the ending that you had in your mind. Or the ending that you wanted. It wasn't for me. I thought Jon would fully embrace his family roots and become King Aegon 6th of his name.
But I still respect and love the ending that they gave us.
I'm not disappointed in the slightly with the unGodly amount of time that I spent with this show over the last eight years. Whether it be watching it, rewatching it, or discussing it in here or among friends. And it still sits at my number 2 spots for greatest shows of all times, only behind the Wire.
Bronn sellword/assassin/cpaCo-sign...i liked the episode more than i expected i would.
Nice to see Bronn again...from a sellsword straggler who volunteered to defend Tyrion in season one...to commander of the kingsguard and defending kings landing against stannis rebellion...to owning a castle and wedding a lady of a noble house...to being lord of highgarden the 2nd wealthiest (or maybe wealthiest) house in the six kingdoms, master of coin and other lofty titles
Son had the biggest come up of anybody on the show
Jon a targaryen as well
This dude really wants to have a voting system
Jon killed Dany. Why nitpick if it was ‘during her speech’... or a few minutes after?Disagree
Jon should have cut Daenerys in half when she was giving that speech. As the Unsullied go to kill Jon the dragon swoops down. Wanting to kill Jon but can’t because he is the rightful Targaryen heir. Protects Jon from any harm
I guess everyone forgot that. Jon could do whatever he wanted because it was his right.
The episode was fine up until Drogon flew off. It’s like he knew fuckery was coming.
Disney threw a bag of money at themThe show runners didn't want to do more seasons. And apparently HBO was ok with it. I guess GRR Martin didn't have any influence in to trying to keep the main story going.
The same reason he didn’t kill Jon. Dragon knows he is a TargaryenJon killed Dany. Why nitpick if it was ‘during her speech’... or a few minutes after?
Btw, Jon doesn’t have that ‘deep’ of a bond with Drogon. He never even rode him. He rode Rhaegal. The one named after his father. Dany is the only person to ride Drogon. If it was Rhaegal, I could see your point.
But why the hell would Drogon just defend Jon... all of a sudden?C’mon man.
The richest house is going to bribe and threaten the other lords for their vote. Just terrible.People voting on their leader is the dumbest idea ever!
Sansa did ‘sell out’ Jon tho. Because last episode she told Tyrion: “What if there is someone BETTER (than Dany)?? Because she was trying to get Jon to claim the throne...

How did they build the wall back
‘Not killing him’.... and ‘outright defending him’ are two different things tho.The same reason he didn’t kill Jon. Dragon knows he is a Targaryen
The screen went black and they fast forwarded![]()
So who is Arya suppose to kill with Green eyes...
They kinda glossed over it, but Sansa and Arya both wanted Jon to be completely free, but the rest of lands that pledged to Dany (The Iron Islands, Dorne, etc) wanted him punished so that was the compromise they had to live with.
BTW, Dorne was shorted again. Their new "prince" didn't get a word in during the council.
Lol @ the prisoner naming a king of the seven kingdoms. Dudes can’t even vote with felonies

Bronn sellword/assassin/cpa
That is all the qualifications one needs to be master of coin it seems. Make Westeros Great Again!Tyrion had to explain interest to Bronn a few seasons ago.
