Here’s how prices stand, as of June 13. (All prices are in U.S. dollars for a gallon of gas.)

Hong Kong
: $11.35
Norway: $10.22
Denmark: $10.04
Finland: $10.08
Greece: $9.49
Netherlands: $9.33
United Kingdom: $8.39
Spain: $8.35
France: $8.27
Italy: $8.01
Israel: $7.94
Germany: $7.65

Curious who else is in the $5 range? Australia, Chile, India, and Fiji are all in roughly the same place as the U.S. when it comes to gas prices.

Of course, some countries have it better—a lot better. You might think Saudi Arabia has the cheapest gas, but it stands at $2.35 per gallon there, well above other countries in the region. Here’s who has the cheapest gas on the planet.

Venezuela - $0.08
Libya: $0.12
Iran: $0.20
Syria: $1.08
Algeria: $1.19

Pretty close. paying close to 2.60 euro or close to $10 a gallon where I'm at. But, the Government has provided all $9 euro a month for the DB train, bus, and tram. A majority of the world is is feeling inflation and high gas prices, not just the US. funny how the narrative has turned to Biden fucking things up.

Biden calls for three-month suspension of federal gas tax but faces long odds of getting Congress on board

President Joe Biden on Wednesday called on Congress to suspend federal gasoline and diesel taxes until the end of September, framing the move as necessary to provide relief to American consumers but itself not enough to resolve the problem of surging energy prices.

Congress likely to reject gas tax push

Congress is likely to quash the White House effort to back a suspension of the federal gasoline tax. The White House has flirted for weeks with the idea of temporarily halting the 18-cent tax as one way to bring relief to drivers amid record gas prices — and President Biden is expected to officially announce support for it on Wednesday.

Why does getting angry do? You still paying those prices now you’re just angry on top of it
There is a guy on Sirius that is called the Black Eagle. His show just ended 10 minutes ago. He has this mantra that insists that you live for the movements instead of the moment. Anger is temporary. To sustain a real change you have to transition that moment into a movement.

I drive an electric vehicle. I have solar panels. I compost. I’m almost a vegetarian.

This government has bilked it citizens for quite some time. But it has also shielded them too. Where I’m from you can’t own a home. My cousins have “great” jobs and they’re in the same room they were raised in. They can drive anywhere for damn near free though. Here it is the alternative: you can get a home but driving is a true cost.

I’m thinking as long as the war goes on in Ukraine gas going to keep going up. The US already has crazy policies against new drilling and I don’t see Biden changing that

Prices will drop and nobody will give Biden credit, even the Democrats will not take credit for it but allow the GOP to get out there saying they brought prices down.

Trump will come out saying he brought prices down.

But weren't the Biden apologists saying "the President doesn't control gas prices anyway"?

True.

But it’s common knowledge the GOP will always take credit for anything that they had no involvement in or vote against it.

The infrastructure bill is a prime example, not one GOP voted for it, but they all are in the states taking credit for the money coming in for infrastructure.

Plenty of pictures and videos of them on job sites standing out there with hard hats and shovels for the publicity photo ops.

If the war in Ukraine ended today with the entire Russian Army pulling out, the GOP will take credit for it.

Dems could learn from this. Understand the optics of issues and play the dirty game to get your policies accomplished.

The Democratic Party is stuck on “BiPartinship”, “Compromise”, “Working With The Other Side”.

And they still stuck on the “They Go Low, We Go High” nonsense.

Biden still has a large number of Trump appointees thru-out his administration trying to show the GOP he can work with them. And those people are screwing him over daily.

Trump got in there and fired everybody who had been there since the Clinton Administration and put his goons in their place.

Anytime you hear Sen. Schumer get up talking about his “Republican Colleagues” and “Republican Friends”, that pretty much tells you they are completely oblivious to what is going on.

I wouldn't say they're "oblivious." They're in on it, including Biden.
