No, it's needed, because this level of confidence doesn't match the work he's put in. You look at Buckshot and Lord Jamar or Masta Ace and Lord Jamar. They've been able to reinvent their flow and work with younger talent to stay relevant. Can ANYBODY repeat a Lord Jamar bar? I am being honest I can't! Has Lord Jamar had a thread for an album in the music section of BGOL? I know his work, but between Sadat X and Grand Puba, Jamar was really the weakest Link. He's had more than one solo project. If memory servers correctly that first one was coming off the heels of Brand Nubian breaking up and I remember liking it when it first came out, but listened to it years later and was trying to figure out what I was smoking.
