Not condoning the actions of the villagers, but, if you decide to steal / rape / kill people eventually they will push back.

Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing whether these guys ACTUALLY committed any crime. I'd hate to think this is a case where a whore cries rape after getting caught, or someone spreading rumors out of jealousy.

^^^Dude, before you start getting all moral and shit about the so-called "barbarism" of Nigeria try to bear in mind that Guantanamo Bay was not conceptualized by any Nigerians.

In Nigeria, armed robbers dont step to Banks or financial institutions, they roll up on private residences and rob families at gun/machete point.

They tend to rape any females present in the homes in front of their male relatives and just straight desecrate and humiliate their victims.

So yeah, the lynching scenes may seem outrageous to you but if your Mom's, sisters, female cousins or aunts had an armed gang running train on them (God forbid) you'd be pouring that gasolene on with a quickness your damn self.:angry:

sharia law is more common in the north.

southern nigeria is more "tribal" and they have more indigenous religions and customs.

Yeah i witnessed that shit first hand living in Enugu/ Obiagu area. Some dude was stealing from helpless Market women and was finally caught. We had to move away with the crowd because the smell of burning flesh and tires was :puke::smh::puke::(
