Did you ever get your battle belt setup? I'm still working on mine. I haven't even chosen my holster yet.:smh:
By battle belt, you're referring to a duty belt like cops & security officers have?

I've been thinking about putting something together to just sling across shoulder that has rifle mags, maybe flashlight, knife, not too heavy and always at the ready. I like the idea of taking the weight off my waist

Here's an example of a battle belt. You'll see them more on people doing training at an outdoor range or during competitions

What you mean about the color change, looks black to me.
What kind of slide stop is that (had to zoom in) and whats the benefit?

Is this or the 43(x) really all that much different/concealeable? I'm just not sold on single stacks.

Maybe with the 15 rd mags, but even then how much width am I saving versus a 26?

I'll have to handle a 43x to really see

What you mean about the color change, looks black to me. G19x is FDE only. You asked about the differences with the G19x and G45.

What kind of slide stop is that (had to zoom in) and whats the benefit? It's a Kagwerks slide stop, it mitigates ss overide. If you have a thumbs high grip, you may encounter issues with the OEM slide lock. The issue I have is primarily with the gen 5.

My G26 feels like a brick compared to the G43x, running the 15 round shield arms mags makes EDC a G43x vs the G26 a no brainer for my application.
G26 vs G43x

After doing some more reading, I would try a 43x. I aint like the short & thin grip of the 43 when it came out, the 43x seems to remedy that along with capacity.

I wonder the difference in weight, profile in hand, and felt recoil of the 43x versus the 26 with a G19 mag.

They get us on accessories and I like to keep stuff interchangeable i.e 26 accepts G19 & G17 mags. Does the 43x accept same mags?

No. 43x & 48 can only share mags with each other. They're too slim to accept double stack mags

Came across this Lucas Gun Oil, didn't know they made gun oil

Then I Googled and found out they have a whole line.

Heck yeah I love Lucas oil, been using it for a good while now. Their CLP is awesome, gets tough grime off/out and leaves a nice protective finish, even on cerakote. Their grease is good too, it doesn't break down fast like other brands.
Their oil is also good. I used Weapon Shield for years but found it dissolved too fast. Lucas is the shit.

Sidenote - We should start a marketplace in here for firearm parts/accessories and such. Keep it in-house.

I know people use all types of stuff to lubricate their guns.

For lube, I use "Lubriplate Gun Grease." It's food grade grease, but I use it for all of my guns. It works flawlessly. It's an aluminum based grease.

You don't need a lot of it.

Tier 1 Axis Elite holster just arrived for my Shield Plus. This time I went with the extended mag sidecar and am much happier with the mag height on it. Even with the 13 round extended mag in, it still sits lower than the regular mag for my M&P 2.0 in my Axis Slim holster that was setup with the regular mag sidecar. I might have to reorder a new holster for the M&P now.
