I went to the range a couple of days ago. I took the 300 WinMag... gotta keep the skills up.
I had one flyer. There's always that one MoFo who doesn't want to act right.

I used Hornady 165 grain copper ammo, by the way. Can't hunt here with lead ammo any more, so people had better get used to copper.

Any of y'all start reloading yet? I'm slowly starting to pick up parts so by next year I can start reloading 300 Blackout, 224 Valkyrie and 308 ammo (i'll be looking to get my 308 rifle next year as well). Also gotta get a solid workbench for the setup too.
I keep saying that I need to start reloading, but I'm doing so much other stuff, that will just be something else I'd have to learn.

I wish I knew someone who was a reloader. A non-white person.

Not for nothing one of the people I'll probably learn from is a white person and he taught some of the people in my NAAGA chapter how to reload. He's also the guy who did my rifle cerakoting and built my garage workbench.

Nope not yet. I've been saying that I'd start "next year" for the past several years. I have since found a potential mentor, so next year for sure...

That's good stuff, Brother. I would most definitely learn from them. But, I would be leery in trusting them to create loads for me. That's all I'm saying.

I learned to shoot rifles from white guys who were ex-military and S.W.A.T. Theses dudes were Trumpers to the core. But, I sat there and learned that shit from them, then I was out of dodge!

I learned about the Title 3 game from a couple of white boys. It was a gift and a curse, but there are some solid pilgrims out there. I still maintain vigilance but have had no significant issues moving around and among them. I definitely steer clear of their broads and gatherings though.

One of the best lessons I learned about mounting scopes is to test it from the prone position. If you can lay on the floor comfortably enough to where you can nap if you wanted to and then naturally raise your head to perfectly look down the scope and not see any scope shadow then your rifle is good to go.

Lil .22 plinker I made. Ruger Mark IV with the barrel chopped to 2.1" and threaded for my DeadAir MaskHD can. The short length keeps the rounds from going supersonic. She is quiet as mouse farts and fun to shoot. Still gotta get a Holosun and dovetail mount.

Congrats, Bro.
I put a
Leupold FX-I Rimfire 4x28mm Fine Duplex on my Ruger Rimfire Target (22LR).
I was thinking bout getting something like a Vortex Diamondback in 4-16x50 but my boy just suggested copping a Athlon Argos 6x24x50. He shoots 22wmr on his bolt-action and plans on stretching out to 300yds with it.

Cool, never heard of Bergara

I've always stayed away from Leopold because of the association of that name with the Congo. Any relation?
Bergara makes nice high-quality bolt-action rifles and many of them use Remington 700 templates so finding compatible parts isn't difficult.

King Leopold was the King of Belgium.

The Leupold company (Pronounced Lu-Pold) is an American company. I don't think that there's any correlation.

Also, Bergara makes some really good guns. I considered a Begara vs The Winchester Model 70. I bought the model 70.
