Yea.. Watched the first couple of episodes and it just felt like another generic, medieval thriller to me.. I might have to give it another shot tho... Thanks for the insight.

Yeah if you ever get around to it give it another shot. Much like the Wire the Game of thrones is heavily character driven and you will become attached to a few of them.
That show is over-hyped like a muther....
