Kieran Culkin secured his Emmy nomination in this episode. I think Ewan’s eulogy really deleted anything Roman was going to say and amped up his grief.

I loved the realism of the funeral, from ex spouse's and lovers showing up,to hard truths being spoken of about the deceased even though in reality most people bite their tongues out of respect.
I think this was one of the realist moments between Tom and Shiv I've seen on this show.
With Jess leaving Kendalls side very realistic...this is how far i can go with you.
The writers came up with so many great one liners.

Could be. I feel like it ties to how Kendall is the forever loser in everything he does and goes on a roller coaster to achieve next to nothing, then ends up depressed by the water. He always has these hair brain schemes and thinks they’ll pan out cause he orders people around but kudos to Roman for calling him out in his bs.
Greg always had Tom in the bag. Yea, Tom threatened him left right and center but Greg-ory grew to be the ally that always stuck to Tom, even if he did try and fuck him in the end, which ironically is what Tom probably wanted, literally and figuratively.
That being said, Greg wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer but he took his shots when he had em. Going from an amusement park mascot to a glorified and overpaid bitch boy is enough for some. He’s the perfect example of people doing anything for the kings crumbs.
This series has been a great reflection of modern day corporate America and politics. But in this episode I think they truly nailed the aforementioned.
I praise the writers and directors lullabying me with all of the great family moments and into thinking(well for about 10 minutes) oh yeah the siblings got this. But no ....of course it wasn't going to work that way. In the end it's about what I can get,whats a better move for me,why not make this move because who really cares,theres no love to be lost? Oh I've got this horrible Ace up my sleeve and I'm going to play it.

But incredible acting, writing overall. Loved this series. Would never of thought the ending would of turned that way and partly why in biz, women tend to think with emotion and Logan hated that about his daughter. She killed her dad's entire legacy with her own selfish need to survive. So stuck with Tom in hopes that later maybe Mattson would possibly give her the ring or just stay the housewife.
