I’m just on episode 1 and I’m tripping that this so far looks to be another show that I thought was going to be shit but I’m liking to so far…
it’s got that Spiderverse type of animation style but it’s mixed with 80s synth like Airwolf…. I might end up making a thread if it sticks the landing.

ok this shit is good… reminds me of pacific rim, mixed with Symbiotic Titan, mixed with some Super hero Monkey team go…but a little more adult.
netflix didn’t say shit about this show.

so some will trip but at this point…. I’m kind of digging this a little more than Revelations. You have to get use to the animation style and at first it’s geared towards kids but the story is fantastic and it has a lot of Easter eggs. The thing that I really like is that each villain has a personal connection to each hero… so the battles mean more. I also like that He-man takes a minute to actually become a true champion. It feels earned because he doesn’t really know what he is doing and his limits in the first couple episodes.
Also dude voicing Skeletor is fantastic…. This might be my favorite version next to the OG and the version in the Masterpiece Cartoon Network series.

Finally got around to watching Season 2 of this series this afternoon.
It’s still a little hokey to appeal to small children, but it has some serious moments to it. It’s actually a pretty good series.
2nd season continues with Skeletor kicking in his devious plan he started in season one.
We got a new capability of the sword. A number of new characters are introduced from the Masters of the Universe catalog.
Skeletor kicked Evil-Lynn to the curb stripping her down from the enhanced powers he gave her last season. Her character like in the Kevin Smith series is one of the most interesting.
Thru-out the season, a few times questions come up about Krass/Ram Girl regarding the stone in her helmet and other things about her. We get some answers in the season finale.
Elders returns in the finale.
I’ll knock out season 3 later this week while home.

Started watching these this morning.
Skeletor revealed some secrets to Castle Greyskull while on his quest to return to Eternia. He has Krass still aiding him for now. She is mainly assisting him to get her parents back.
Evil-Lyn, Lock Jaw and Beast-Man are at Snake Mountain rebooting it to get their powers back that were stripped by Skeletor.
Mer-Man is introduced. They did a good job rebooting this cat from how he has been depicted in the past. He gave a good backstory to King Grayskull.
He-Man takes on the power of Havok and is amped up like a Meth Head.
The real Oreo the Great makes his debut. And we find out something knew about him.
Skeletor manages to come back and reveals his ultimate plan to everyone on Eternia. The lunatic powers himself up like Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet.
The storyline with Skeletor ended in a very predictable way.
They closed out that storyline and opened up a brand new one. I looked into it and could not find any definitive word if the series has been renewed or canceled. All I can tell is it’s sitting in limbo. If a 4th season is planned this year, it will debut in August like prior seasons.
We will wait and see…
One of the positives of this season was they eliminated the long, drawn out sequence of Adam converting to He-Man along with the others.
