This has been on my mind for a bit...we all see the black owned clothing stores or food stores but no services. I need an accountant for my new business and also a lawyer. Prefer black for multiple reasons, but where I am so far I haven't found any. And I am looking daily.
Does anyone have or know of a directory or place where I can find black owned accounting firms or accountants, lawyers, plumbers, electricians, carpenters.. etc?

Basically search for blackbook black owned businesses and your city and state or some variation of that like black owned accounting firms and your state. There are a lot of directories that don't have a lot of info or may be outdated, especially with the pandemic, so it's hit or miss.

glad they came through. That's funny because most often I see services like that and way less products, especially non prepared food ones.
Great!!! We must support our own just like Jews, Asians, Latinos and Arabs and others do. And above all we should not continue spending our money at venues where we are disrespected and profiled. Way too many of us put up with demeaning abuse simply because the establishment is conveniently located and we're too damn lazy to travel the extra distance to shop at stores where the proprietors welcome our business and treat us accordingly.
