Israel Declares War After Hamas Attacks

The reason for the ceasefire is because Israel lost the war and failed their stated military goal of "destroy Hamas", losing thousands of their IDF troops in the process. Israel was stalling by blocking aid and housing deliveries into Gaza. These violations of the agreement caused Hamas to react in turn. The 2.1M Gazans are not being relocated to Egypt, Jordan, etc. Israel / US doesn't have that kind of pull over there. More than half of the population has returned to Northern Gaza so far and more are returning.

He wants to know what Hamas goal was.
Isreal had nearly 10k Palestinians in jails/prisons.
Thats why these people look well fed and taken care of for the most part.

This seems like the mission ifihad the question presented to me.

Seems like Hamas goal was to get prisoners for exchange.
This exchange could have happened in November but Israelis didn’t want it.

Since Israel only understands violence, Hamas escalated. The other goal, stated in the ceasefire agreement, was to end occupation, which happened at cost. Israel wanted none of that, but here we are.

Yep they definitely trying not to get to phase two when leads to the end of occupation practices by the IDF

Some reports are saying the complete breakdown of the ceasefire haven’t been released to the Israeli public

Because Israel dont get nothing and have to pay for the rebuild of Gaza

That is what makes it hilarious when you have some saying Israel will obliterate the rest of Gaza and 2.1M Palestinians will need to leave or else. Uhhhhh, Israel didn't win the war. Hence, ceasefire negotiations, which Israel never wanted in the 1st place.

Yea, Israel will prob stall again like a stubborn toddler, but it won't stop the inevitable outcome. Game over.

It's all part of selling the false image of "we defeated Hamas". But the reality is that Hamas is showing up in fresh pressed military uniforms and new vehicles to pick up Palestinian hostages during the exchange in 4K on the world stage. In addition, Hamas forces have been replenished and have increased. On the flip side, Israel had to BEG reservists to serve, not the formula for a long war.

Well, the world sees it. The legacy mainstream media and Israel's small council failed to sell the narrative of the images to the masses. But, some still buy into the "Israel's vast military superiority" thing that falls flat on the military field, again and again.

Pimpslap Slim

The Villain
BGOL Investor
The conflict started WAY before October 7th, which was an escalation. When Israel bombed parts of Gaza, there was a price it paid: significant loss of IDF troops, IDF military compounds destroyed, and Houthis destroying cargo ships (en route to Israel), which had a negative effect on it's economy. Northern Israel is a ghost town from all the drones and missiles fired into it by Hezbollah. War is not free.

Israel / IDF never had any realistic goals. They initially thought the war would end in a couple weeks, so they could build beachfront properties for the rich, but instead, it's ass kicked got kicked by Triple H (Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis) and later had to negotiate a ceasefire, which includes freeing hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, allowing aid back into Gaza, etc. There will not be any relocation of 2.1M people out of Gaza. Not happening.

There's also this...

Watch.
Agent orange gonna use our tax money and military to make sure those resorts are built.

It will take over a decade and up to $1T to rebuild. Trump will be long dead before that.
They let the right people build it(Asians)… in 5 years that place would look completely different…

But The Palestinians need to build it just so they can have secured underground networks

That’s damn near a must to have

5-Years sounds like a wishful, best case scenario, with no political and/or conflict interruptions. IF the Ceasefire breaks, add another 20 years

Yea it is but that’s why I said them Asians building it

But everything you said is correct…

Yea, it will take a lot of logistical efforts with no route blockade interruption of supplies and aid.

And :roflmao: @ the notion that Trump will simply sweep up Gaza with a broom (military) so that beachfront resorts can be built. Like Dave Chappelle said, "high people ideas":roflmao::roflmao2:

The cleanup in progress…. Eygptians know if they let the plan go, they will have to war with the Zionist. It’s best to help the Palestinians than face your enemy on your doorsteps…

Israeli should foot the bill to but the Arab world might assist asap to keep them from being replaced

They should but that would likely come with way too many consequences. Egypt and other neighboring countries have had enough of Israel's bullshit.

Hamas praises African leaders’ ‘courageous’ stance against Gaza onslaught

Monday, 17 February 2025 11:24 AM [ Last Update: Monday, 17 February 2025 11:24 AM ]

Hamas resistance movement has praised the “principled and courageous” position of African leaders concerning the Israeli onslaught on the besieged Gaza Strip, and their vehement opposition to the atrocious campaign against the Palestinians there.

During the 38th African Union Summit in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa on Sunday, African Union (AU) leaders issued a strong condemnation of Israeli atrocities in Gaza, urging member states to halt cooperation and normalization with the Tel Aviv regime.

Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinians and must be prosecuted internationally, the summit’s final statement read.

“We call for an end to cooperation and normalization with Israel until it ends its occupation and aggression against Palestine,” the communiqué pointed out.

Hamas said in a statement that it “commends the final statement of the African Union summit, and the principled and courageous position of member states in condemning the brutal Zionist war on Gaza, and rejecting the regime’s violations of the international law.”

The Gaza-based movement praised the communiqué for condemning the genocide against Palestinians, and its call for prosecution of the Zionist regime at international courts and cessation of all forms of cooperation and normalization with the occupying regime until it renounces occupation and aggression against Palestinians.

South Africa won't withdraw genocide case against Israel after Trump threatens to cut off aid

Pretoria says it will stand by its principles and won
Hamas described the position of African countries to be a natural continuation of the continent's history of struggle against colonialism and oppression, and their adherence to the values of freedom, justice, and the right to self-determination.

It emphasized that such a strong stance demonstrates support for the resilience of Palestinians against the crimes of the occupying Israeli regime, and sends a clear message to the international community that they must honor their obligations to stop the Zionist entity's aggression and prosecute its criminal leaders.

Hamas finally called on African countries to take concrete steps by increasing political and legal pressures on Israel, supporting the Palestinian cause in international forums and strengthening Palestinians’ steadfastness until freedom is achieved and an independent Palestinian state is established with al-Quds as its capital.

Backed by the United States and its Western allies, Israel launched the war on Gaza after Hamas and other Gaza-based Palestinian resistance movements carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Flood against the Israeli regime in response to its decades-long campaign of oppression against Palestinians.

Israel's genocidal war on Gaza has led to the death of at least 48,271 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injury of 111,693 others since early October 2023.

A ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement went into effect in Gaza on January 19, halting Israel's aggressive campaign against the coastal region.

This is a good example of many that illustrate the US does not have the same sway it once had on the world stage. Noam Chomsky's predictions of the U.S. being more isolated are playing out in real time and Trump is speeding up that process. South Africa reacted by suspending American Businesses and mineral exports. The South African Whites (Afrikaners) rejected the asylum offer, basically told Trump. "thanks, but no thanks". :roflmao:

This goes back way beyond the current and last Presidents. The U.S. becoming more isolated was predicted decades ago, just by looking at global shifts and geopolitics. The current President is simply speeding those predictions up from gradual to rapid. Every empire ends, eventually.

Hamas confirms senior military commander assassinated in Lebanon

Monday, 17 February 2025 5:57 PM [ Last Update: Monday, 17 February 2025 5:57 PM ]

The military wing of Hamas has confirmed that one of its senior commanders has been assassinated in an Israeli drone strike on southern Lebanon.

The Qassam Brigades announced in a statement on Monday that Mohammad Shaheen, also known as Abu al-Baraa, had been killed in the airstrike in the port city of Sidon on the Mediterranean coast.

It mourned the loss of Shaheen, praising his complete dedication to resistance and struggle against the Israeli occupation.

Qassam Brigades said the fallen military commander played a key role in the surprise and large-scale operation by Gaza-based resistance groups, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, against the Zionist entity on October 7, 2023, and actively undertook a series of tasks ever since.

In a joint statement, the Israeli military and the regime’s so-called internal security service, Shin Bet, identified Shaheen as “the head of Hamas' Operations Department in Lebanon.”

They accused him of recently planning attacks against Israeli settlers from Lebanon.

The Israeli army and Shin Bet also described him as a “significant source of knowledge” for rocket attacks from Lebanon.

The Lebanon-based and pan-Arab al-Mayadeen television news channel reported that an Israeli drone strike targeted a car at the entrance to Sidon.

Video footage circulating on social media showed a vehicle on fire on a highway, with a black cloud of smoke rising from it.

Islamic Jihad's condemnation

Meanwhile, the Islamic Jihad movement, in a statement, condemned the assassination of the high-profile Qassam Brigades commander in the Lebanese city of Sidon.

“This treacherous and cowardly assassination reflects the aggressive and criminal nature of the leaders of the Zionist entity. It constitutes a dangerous act aimed at the elimination of the Axis of Resistance, its leaders and commanders.

“The pure blood of resistance leaders in Lebanon and Palestine will only increase the cohesion, prowess, and commitment of Lebanese and Palestinian nations to resist against the Israeli enemy,” the statement read.

The strike comes a day before Israel is scheduled to complete its full withdrawal of troops from Lebanon under a ceasefire agreement that ended 14 months of fighting between Israel and the Hezbollah resistance movement.

Tuesday’s deadline was set after Israel and Lebanon agreed to postpone the original late-January one.

However, Israel now insists on maintaining troops in five strategic locations in southern Lebanon near the border beyond the February 18 deadline.

Sheikh Naim Qassem:

"Trump's positions on the Palestinian issue are very dangerous and want to end Palestine and its people. This political genocide, after Netanyahu failed to carry out human genocide, is just dreams and cannot be implemented."

"The Palestinian people will not leave their land, and we will help the Palestinians resist Trump's plan."

"The American project is a threat to all Arab and Islamic countries."

[To the Arab Leaders who are gathering regarding Trump's Plan] "When you formulate plans to deal with it, keep in mind that Hezbollah is ready to help prevent Trump's new mass displacement plan."
