To me he is a player who is better off playing on a small market team because he tends to have mental laps during big games. On the Cavs they look for fast thinking guards who can hit the outside shot plus dribble penetrate, I just don't rate Chalmers that high on none of that stuff.
The Cavs only rely on fast thinking guards? JR Smith and Shumert are fast thinking high IQ guys? Like where does he get this stuff from. Seriously, someone please tell me he is just joking

If you look at the Toronto/G.S. game you can see how great LeBron is.. If you notice the Warriors collapse and double up every time in the paint..
Most teams cannot solve this problem because in order to attack it you have to use your brains not your athleticism and most teams in the nba aren't that smart. To make matter worse once you miss the Warriors are off and running and are almost impossible to beat in transition.
With LeBron playing qb he reads their defense and attack it base on where the double team comes from.
As great as players like Westbrook are they will never be able to beat a sophisticated defense like the Warriors due to their inability to read the defense correctly.

Nigga the Cavs collapse against the Celtics before the Cavs pulled out the win

Wtf u talkin bout?

Steph the best basketball player to ever come up out my town. But dude dont play well versus Kyrie.

No I said the top two teams will be the Warriors and Cavs and they are very close to each other even with the addition of Durant... Sure he makes the Warriors a little better but I said that I thought that Love being healthy and finally be able to practice for his new roll on the Cavs, he should be much more productive and a much better outside shooter. To me his release to his shot was way too slow, and I can tell he practice all off season trying to speed it up.
I also said that McGee was a great pick up for the Warriors back when folks was clowning the Warriors for the move, so how is that opposite to whats happening?

This is Curry game, he is a smooth assassin he plays with passion but is smooth with it.
What makes him look bad is that the Cavs guards Delly (in the past), Irving and Shumpert are all firey so when Curry misses his shots it looks like its due to him not being fired up. But look at it this way, when Shumpert was missing and if JR has a off game no one questions their passion, they just say they are having a bad game.
Both teams had problems with the outside shots due to both team great perimeter defense and unlike 98% of the NBA these two teams are not forced to double team the Cavs/Warriors best players, this allows them to not only stay at home vs the outside shooters but also it allows them to properly defend the pick and roll.

After looking at some stats and at some of the game again, I noticed one glaring weakness the Warriors have this year that they didn't have last season, that is their center position..
Yesterday Kerr admitted that Zaza had problems adjusting to the speed of the game and was forced to cut down his minutes (13 in all) his confidence in McGee seemed to be less, especially after the Cavs countered by putting Fry in the game to pull him out of the paint.
When I saw Love effectively guarding West and Zaza I knew that was a problem, because this allowed the Cavs to take replace Thompson with Love while playing James at the 4, Jefferson or Liggins at the 3, Shumpert or Jefferson at the 2 and Irving at the 1, (this is the line up that closed the 14pt lead and would have played more were Love not in foul trouble).

This lineup forced the Warriors to either play West or Green at the center while the Cavs lineup being able to switch off from positions 2-5 and match the Warriors line up takes away one of the Warriors biggest offensive weapons (the pick and roll where they kill you on the mismatch due to the switch off).

The result is that the Cavs were not only attack the paint with out fear of any rim protectors they were also able to neutralize the Warrior offense thus allowing them to cut into the 14 point deficit real fast.

The comment about who is guarding who makes perfect sense when Kyrie had a better finals than Curry and hits the game winner yesterday. It's just about stepping up. Lebron is the man still, but Kyrie is doing is own against yellow Jesus.

And remember, Cavs weren't at full-strength against GS. They didn't have Smith. Up here, all that was on sports talk was how not having Smith would allow GS to crowd the lane more.

And I need to know...what's up with the ";" instead of periods.... Just curious. I know Mrfreddy has his way of typing too... lol

If you are questioning Kerr's substitutions for the game then he better do a lot better in the finals if they meet, because I think that both Curry and Durant can be worn down with physical play especially when you make them play hard defense and this may be the reason why Durant tends to historically fall off in the 4th and why Curry numbers vs Irving is always down.
I know they want to shorten their bench vs the Cavs but if they do and make it into a war of attrition, who are you going to favor in a long series?

In the finals they will be forced to play a shallow bench, but so will the Warriors due both teams playing at such a frantic speed and I don't mean running and gunning like the Blazers, both teams play faster harder and faster, and most players including some on both teams bench cannot keep up and think fast enough to play.
For example when the Warriors collapse on you in the paint you have less than a sec to get the ball in the right player hands, if your mentally slow chances are you will turn over the ball, players like McRae and even Ian Clark does not have the mental speed to keep up, so players like LeBron, Irving, K Thompson, Curry and Durant have to log in longer mins.
To the Cavs advantage Liggins appear to be able to play at that high pace and fit in just well on defense.

:hmm:

Man. It's fuck this superteam. KD's bitch ass turned the tide. Otherwise, I don't care if they run off 10 in a row. I don't even care where Lebron is in 2019. Just want this bitch squad to take an L.
:giggle:I hope the league becomes more competitive because of this; fuck sitting around and waiting for the run to end. Tell these GMs to do their jobs; draft better, sign the right free agents; stop overpaying the wrong ones. Lets get it....
