Ok, that shit brought a tear to my eye...
Totally different situation but my brother have had back surgery about a 2 months ago. Three disk were ruptured, it was so bad his right side of his body pretty much would shut down at times. At one point he didn't have any feeling waist down, so that meant he didn't feel any bowel movement or anything. Before the procedure there was a $600 shot he had to take, two weeks after that when he went to schedule the surgery, he was still in pain so of course another shot was given.
He had the surgery, they had to clean around the nerves because since it was ruptured some cartilage was pressing against the nerves(think of a mushroom) cause the pain and disconnect of feeling.

Like I said this was a few months ago, last week at the checkup, dr founded another one, so he had another surgery Thursday.

This is with no VA help, dude did 2 tours in Iraq...but for whatever reason they slow walk his case.

Man I am going through some shit with my pops at the same time, and all I can say is the V.A. hospital ain't shit for real.
