You know AA is more than just Harvard right? There will be fewer opportunities for Black children to go to all kinds of colleges because of this. This case is to make it illegal for ANY college to consider race when admitting people into school. So no college in America will be able to consider historic racism to make sure black people are represented.

WORK TO GET THESE PROTECTIONS PUT BACK INTO LAW, FIGHT FOR THEM. Elect people that will do that.

You can keep your affirmative action cause others benefit way more. Affirmative action is a dependence policy. Those shanty eyed chinks are against it if blacks may benefit. But blacks are not the benefits of affirmative action.

Reminder that 43 percent of white Harvard freshmen in 2019 were athletes, legacies, families of donors or of staff (ALDS). 70% of those white applicants would not have been accepted if they were not ALDS. If the issue is fairness, there is your problem.

My uncle is a graduate of MIT , he made a lot of money, one of the main reasons he would make a lot of money is csuse he got a lot of consultation gigs from people who he knew from MIT.
So many in here don't understand that so many of the people that you think "did it themselves" got VC backing from people that went to the same schools as them. That knew the same people they did.

I remember there was an article a few years ago about how Asians are perceived to better at taking tests. Once AA ends then colleges might start excluding them as well.

The other fallacy in this thread is that if you negotiate set-aside contracts, those are the only contracts you have....which is waayyyyyy from the truth. It can certainly help get started, which is what we need most, a fair chance to enter the arena, but once started and given the opportunity to prove themselves, they bid on private contracts and government contracts that aren't part of the set-aside programs as well.....

A friend of mine works at a media audit company. What an audit company does is they take a look at the advertising plan and they make sure that whatever the agency is saying that plan costs that those numbers are correct. Media audit companies also help when clients are looking to go into review and look at other agencies for their work.
Anyway a friend of mine that we started together in the business works at a media audit agency and he had too much work to handle so he called me and asked if I could cover for some of this work for 20 hours a week. I had the time so I said sure. I didn't have to interview no one questioned if I knew what I was doing because I got in through a connection. Because of that connection I was working 20 hours a week as a side gig to my main job and my going rate as a freelancer is $100 an hour. So I was making $2,000 a week for 6 months while helping out on this piece of business as a side gig. While still making around $190k a year at my main job. All because I knew somebody. Just so you know in total I made around $48,000 doing amazingly easy work and I posted on here pictures of a bunch of little Mexican dudes redoing my driveway and redoing my backyard patio and that little side gig is what paid for all of that.
