The king of England has never worked a day in his life. It ain’t my fault yall have expenses that demand yall drop a cd like DMX did in 99.I agree he was talking shit, definitely holding back...
And the Jay-Z "1 hot album"....play.....if a mfkr is sensitive about their work, that could hurt K Dot...
But I see that as a slight that Drake would take more offense to, not Kendrick.
I guess I expected the energies to match and they don't. If K Dots verse was a 7, then 7 minute drill was like a 5....
Interested in seeing if Drake steps foot into battle before summer and if K Dot waits until then to respond to Cole.....
IMOI dont even know why all this dissing is even happening?![]()
Like he said "warning shots". That Kendrick diss was about Drake. He didn't need to unload the clip from the jump
This is rap it's always been the wayBrothers love assaulting brothers.
Cole and K Dot is just friendly sport.....
I doubt there is real beef there.
Now Drake and K Dot........... eeek
I really think K Dot has a problem with Drake and truth be told, the way Drake responded to "Control," he brought that on himself......
Ok makes sense because at the time Control verse came out was around the time everyone was coming at Drake about ghost writers, so I’m sure Drake probably felt like the control was a low below, and was definitely in his feelings because everybody was coming at Drake then. I didn’t know he did all them interviews talking against the control verse.IMO
K Dot isn't really dissing Cole.
Kendrick's "Control" verse, was a lyrical challenge: Let's spit these bars and let the fans decide who is better.
Cole wasn't "outside," or in the mode to get in the studio then, cool.
But then Drake does a year of in his feelings interviews regarding the Control verse.....
Now more recently, Drake an Cole release 1st Person Shooter. Cole and Drake take shots at Kendrick.
Kendrick does "Like That." Basically, asking "Are you two mfkrs ready now or what?! Is the challenge on, or are you going to duck the smoke?!"
However since Drake responded to Control the way he did.... I do think K Dot really is dissing him. Like "it was all for sport and the fans, but you really feel some type of way.....cool." the asshole part of me understands, keep proding and provoking him until he either comes out to battle or backs out publicly.
Cole and K Dot is just friendly sport.....
I doubt there is real beef there.

Facts. Kendrick and Cole are just sparring and selling the fight now. I don't even think Kendrick would've even "dissed" Cole if Cole wasn't on First Person Shooter. I do however think Kendrick seriously dislikes Drake though. They've been taking potshots at each other for the better part of a decade now. Kendrick respects Cole. I don't think he respects Drake at all.
Maybe I'm reaching but I always thought "You Aint Gotta Lie" was about Drake—especially the 2nd verse:
And the world don't respect you
And the culture don't accept you
But you think it's all love
And the girls gon' neglect you once your parody is done
Repetition can't protect you if you never had one
Jealousy (complex), emotional (complex)
Self-pity (complex), under oath (complex)
The loudest one in the room, nigga, that's a complex
Let me put it back in proper context
Again, after the butt hurt, super emotional responses Drake had to Control. I definitely don't see Kendrick respecting Drake....
Not at all.
"Put an emotional rapper in his pajamas!"
Bruh!! He did that for a BET Cypher and then gave a mfkr a hi-five while dissing Drake!! Just cold. He makes dissing Drake, comedy.
2024 is the season of motherfucking hate!I dont even know why all this dissing is even happening?![]()
It has some nice lines in it, but I like Kendrick Lamar's verse better. That Nino Brown G money thing was tight, The Simpsons bar was tightActually like it better on the 2nd listen
Absolutely. Wheelchair Jimmy, was the only goofy that took it personallyCole and K Dot is just friendly sport.....
I doubt there is real beef there.
