We are talking about 20 to 25 songs, not a 100 song verses or career or total amount of commercial hits. Yes, Jay Z has bigger commercial hits than Ghostface, but didn't Dip Set have bigger hits than the Lox? And they got bodied on stage in their backyard.
Ghostface can easily put together 20 classic/commercial/ verses/songs.
Go on YouTube, search Ghostface or Busta a videos. People will be surprised of the hits they rapped on, just forgot. Nas got a whole lotta shit people forgot about too.

You are correct. Again, that lady won’t tune into that hypothetical verzuz, so who cares what she thinks. That input is applicable making a playlist for a drive OT, but in this format the fans with knowledge of the catalog is all that counts.
Its a 20 song battle, not a total catalog career battle.
Jay Z definitely can put together 100 to 150 songs more solid than them.
20 songs, is like a 3 round boxing match, not a 15 round fight.
I can easily choose 20-25 solid tracks from Ghostface, Nas, and Busta.
Out of the Verses I have seen, I have seen each artist leave off a lot of classic shit out of their battles.
Once again it's about the impact of the songs that you have in the catalog.
If I have an arsenal that larger than yours and put together my top 20 and you put together your top 20. The fact is I am more than likely able to put together a better top 20 than you are. It's like putting together a best of album.
Now personally I may like Nas best of Album over Jay's. Yet the fact remains that's my personal choice. The same way I tend to like B sides of albums (album hits) vs the commercial hits.
That's your personal take. I know someone who'd tell you the exact opposite.
Yet what it comes down to is the choice of the masses vs our personal choice.
Believe me, I didn't say that Jay would go quietly , you posted a few of my personal faves but I also left off a shitload of bangers from Wayne...Wayne vs Jay makes so much more sense than somebody like Busta or Nas...
