Unfortunately, their behavior is not considered a ban worthy offense. I generally comment for the benefit of lurkers so that there is a sane opposing viewpoint or to make it clear their BS agenda is obvious and that they aren't getting away with anything. That said, I agree with you.

Agree. The sad part is the same trolls are the main ones trying to profit off of financial advice during this economic bubble to the point that I can’t even spread knowledge because I refuse to passively fund intelligence agency activity against my nation of people.

I offered to pay to clean up the trash but it would be like the aftermath of “the great flood” around here, :lol:

but i dont understand why its like this on THIS board -

Dem Underground was damn near zealous in banning and tossing out posters who posted ridiculous or obvious propaganda by RW trolls who would foist those things as "arguments "... the same went for places like Hannity and RedRepublic who would do the same to "leftists" that came in to call everyone fascist and klan members ...

im just dumbfounded as to why those places are stringent about not being on some "both sides" shit and how this place which isnt even ABOUT politics mostly somehow allows trolls to consistently propagate and promulgate all sorts of specious arguments and just out right distortions in topics and not get banned or blocked

dude just posted a thread on his pro ADOS soapbox that was an obvious distortion and bait thread and its just been rocking like the other dozen threads he fills the board up with

theres like 6 of em that consistantly do this and with the double dozens of members that do actively post its always the same 6 posters that post the same old crap over and over

at what point does a mod simply block them from accessing the site since they dont do anything but create strife?

You don’t have to block them from the forum. You can block them from certain threads. If their antics spill into other threads and said threads are derailed, they should banned.

I've moderated other boards, I've seen the difference. IMO, BGOL is purposefully ran as the wild, wild west. "Only the strongest survives." Coupled with modern day nonsense that every opinion is valid and has value so therefore deserves to be heard, it leads to a shit show.

IMO, the attacks on other black peoples should not be tolerated. As I've stated elsewhere, there is nothing in advocating for reparations and ADOS/DOAS that would require us to disparage everyone else. Posts have been reported in the past and rejected by staff more senior than myself, so I follow their lead on this.

There is a grey area because while the ADOS and reparations discussion had merit, it has been coopted and is full of trolls and amplified by trolls and RW personalities with an anti black unity agenda that is coupled with an anti vote (for black people and dems ONLY) agenda. The sad part is they have swayed formerly sane members who now align with their thinking and see other black peoples as their enemy and now target them over the common enemy of WS. They don't see the hidden agenda because they are personally vested and reject the notion this nonsense is being heavily promoted by bots and agents because they themselves are not a bot. Both can be true. Russian agents got average Americans to show up for protests back in 2016, but just because real people and true supporters have signed on or subscribed to similar ideas ahead of time, it doesn't mean the operation is any less coordinated.

I can't keep up with all the posts but I automatically know whether a thread is full of fuckery or not based on the name of the thread starter.
