For a movie with so many high profile actors, it hit the mark. It was some good acting in this one.
Lakeith Stansfield character made me want to kill him myself
I might be in the minority he was fine here I felt like he could've got more work in this...I don't feel they look advantage of his greatness but man he's a great actor. Hell the Spike Lee movie he did 5 Bloods should've warranted a OSCAR. That was by far the best performance I saw that year.
A GREAT movie. Nothing really fresh and new. Its just great to see. Its also a beautiful film from direction to the set design.
This one of those rare movies where I have no complaints. Didn't even feel like it was 2 hours long. That's a great film right there where you can sit down on a Netflix movie for 2 hours and not feel like its too long.
This is what I expected Django to be when people was hyping it up. Granted, I liked Django but this hit where the Magnificent 7 couldn't and where Django couldn't.
One thing I also liked as a viewer is that the "good guys" in this film are the lesser known artists. I know Jonathan Majors is taking off but he's relatively new. And the "bad guys" are the people we've always been accustom to rooting for in films. I didn't know I was gonna have to come into this shit hating Idris Elba, Regina King and Laketih Stanfield. Probably just happened that way.
Much props to Deon Cole. I still remember him from his Comic View days.....did a great job in here.

Who would you have to replace her? I thought she did a good enough job that she didn't take away from the movie in any way.
I thought she did alright. Her eyes were focused and cued in, something I look for in actors. If you watch lesser actors their eyes seem to reflect that they are in a studio rather than a small room that they are supposed to be in. They are not "cued in"
My only issue was ticky-tack. When she was singing it was obvious lip-syncing and her throat and face did not show like she was singing. That's all I had, but damn if she wasn't sexy as fuck, and I'm usually "meh" on light skinned chicks
It's not like she was nowhere near as horribly miscast as Jodie Turner Smith was as a SEAL Team commander in the Michael B Jordan movie Without Remorse. She was fucking horrid
