I didn't have an issue with Zazie Beatz as Stagecoach Mary, the director I believe address this stating it's not a bio pic. Cherokee Bill was a high yellow Native American and no one is having any issues with Lakeith Stanfield playing him. And I think she held her own considering she's never been in this caliper of film. And as for Wunmi Mosaku playing Stagecoach Mary or someone like her in size and completion, do we want to type cast Wunmi Mosaku into playing a big black strong woman in every film especially when it's just an action movie?

I saw another review that said it dragged in the middle, but that typically happens when you're trying to tell a story and eliminate as many potholes as possible. Typically when the story comes you need to sit down and pay attention
People are so used to Michael Bay's senseless action the entire movie that they are not used to movies where you try to eliminate plot holes

Miss me with the Michael Bay reference. MIchael Bay movies are complete trash. Trying to conflate criticism about the pacing of the middle of this movie with that extreme is mentally lazy.
For me pacing in the middle was just a little slow. It makes sense story wise. You want the audience to catch their breath from the first Act and setup the final, however, it felt really slow. At one point I was asking what are they doing now and why.
Still enjoyed the movie. I plan on watching it again.

I know Michael Bay movies are trash. What I'm saying is it is very difficult to tell an entire story and not have it slow down so that you can tell the story minus the plot holes. Very few movies are fast paced all the way through

They fleshed out many of the main characters motivations for this movie. That was done and pieces of the beginning and middle, they had to slow down the pace
