because soon as the film started...I already knew what the twist was from rip.

This is why when I see a piece of a trailer I like I stopped watching. I don't watch 2nd trailers and 3rd trailers because I don't want to see any spoilers.

I purposely turn my brain off for the really good movies because I don't want to figure it out. I only try to figure it out when the movie is a very very bad.

once we can start talking about spoilers, please let me know how you saw what you saw because the way it ended I don't know how you could have seen THAT coming.

The trailer can be a spoiler. In the movie A Perfect getaway, I saw that because I live across the street from the Dollar movie, but how could you show a trailer for that movie without giving away the whole thing? It's a good movie if you haven't seen it

good movie....will definitely leave you with questions and wanting to watch it again. Jordan Peele is making a lot of room for himself. He's gonna be able to do damn near anything he wants in Hollywood soon.

Winston Duke was supposed to be playing a straight Man regular Guy role and he played that role perfectly. It's acting by not acting.

But lupita nyong'o character(s) was phenomenal

Yeah she proved that she's definitely got range as an actress.
Duke was hilarious to me.
Aside from Lupita completley stealing the show, the entire cast was superb.

Why pretend? Some will like it, some won't.

I'm already predicting a lot of people will say they didn't like it after watching once, but if you analyze the scenes or even watch it again, you'll come to appreciate it. They're are a few things that don't make since, but it doesn't take anything away from the movie. This was pretty well written and directed.

Why pretend? Some will like it, some won't.

Because cats want Jordan Peele to win so badly that they’re lying to themselves. This wasn’t a great (or even good) horror film. It wasn’t even remotely scary and some elements were just plain ridiculous. I’m glad he’s still making his loot and continuing to promote blackness on screen but Us was mediocre at best. If not for Lupita it would have been terrible.
