I read that the Commonwealth games are for all of Great Britain's former colonies and possessions. That right there is enough to make you say fuck them. I think part of the reason the USA doesn't come is they don't want acknowledge that they were once under GB rule.

I never knew that Janeek and Sha'Carri were dating. I was wondering if Janeek Brown was still doing hurdles
because she was a beast at Arkansas, winning the NCAA championship women 100 meter hurdle back in
2019 with a 12.40.

Jamaican hurdler Britany Anderson is fine as fukk and she got some of the prettiest track booty on the planet.

I think Sydney said she didn't want fame because with it comes A LOT of ridiculous criticism. Like the shit she gets for being half white/lighskin coming from the black community. Lets not act like we can't be a bunch of nasty bitter mofos when we want to be.

I think she had a freak out moment kinda similar to what chappelle had and she responded by withdrawing a bit.

I can see this being a problem. She carries herself with a lot of grace, has gotten married early, and is open about her religious beliefs. That will be a turnoff for some in the black community. They would rather support ratchet loud mouths involved in open toxic relationships.

I would look to investing into track if I was really wealthy. Especially all these professional athletes/entertainers looking to get into pro sports. Some are stuck on trying to own a NBA or NFL team. Thats a hard club to get into. Michael Jordan and the Johnson guy that was head of BET broke through with majority ownership of an NBA franchise. No African American has come close in the NFL. Most have to settle for very small stake percentage, which ain't shit. I remember when folks was running around talking about Jay-Z bought the Nets.. :hmm:

I like what Cube tried with The Big 3..not sure how profitable it is. But it something different and outside the box. That good old boy club is hard to get break. And many of those teams keeping it in the family. We know track is not competing with those sports. But judging by the viewership engagement I think theres something there. Imagine if Lebron and Jayz came together with some investors and sponsored 1 or 2 major meets a year. I say up the winnings and have some entertainment crossover involved. The NFL/NBA have taking full advantage of incorporating entertainers outside of the sport to help promote it. The meets have mostly been the same boring setup for years. Doesn't mean it has the stay that way. Pull in some other elements and really make it something people want to attend or watch.

its the spectacle and circus and unfortunately too many people are cheerleaders for foolishness and find stability and quiet success boring and nerdy. The fucked up part is for the people who play into that they soon discover that they're criticized for that by the same people encouraged it in the first place! So theres a constant jumping from one foot to the other and they're time is up and the lose their relevancy or they go insane and kill themselves which ever comes first.

Thanks moblack, the loud mouth ignorant black people are the minority. The majority of black people wake up every day and try to make a living for themselves and their families. We all have ignorant people in our lives. I have a family member in jail right now, but he was always a fuck up.
