Just one correction. I wasn't focusing on her degrees. We all have those pieces of paper. Means nothing if applied stupidly in real life. I wanted the take away to be how she came up from the most unpromising circumstances to triumph in America. If she depended on Democrat policies, she would also be worse off than her parents in the poverty. My parents fought poverty aggressivley and turned it around before my very eyes. Anything that is not fighting poverty, i have no interest in. Even if all the remaining blacks on earth swear by it. I have zero interest in it. Show me the way out of poverty and you got my undivided attention. I am not saying republicans have it either but as it stands, 97% ofall blacks are bunched up in one corner and last place has been assigned to us. I am not for that kind of fuckery.
I remember once in NYC when i entered a store in my pajamas in the Bronx in 97 (yeah i was wearing silk pajamas and leather brown loafers in a supermaket before the mixed breeds and their trashy progeny wore pajamas in Walmart across America) when a security guy following me around in the vegetables section when i reminded him that nothing in that store caught my criminal senses. I told the security man that i would steal and rob a bank before i steal tomatoes in a supermarket.
I have seen poverty with my eyes (instances that were not even mine to relate to) and i shall be the last black man standing alone and not give a single fukk if it brings me closer to not being poor. Plus i was never poor in spirit so i can't relate to most of the group think-crabs in a barrel- philosophy espoused by black militants at the expense of standing up to the power. Ppl should do everything possible to escape poverty and i shall not judge a common thief who tried to beat poverty. Democrats are still trying to overcome and Kofi was born King and shall move like one until the death. It has nothing to do with party affiliation, race, mother or father. When i was 10 years old, my mother told a group of ppl that she had never seen a human being so averse to poverty till she gave birth to me. On my 1st birthday, my father won a lottery for a house from the company he worked for . Ghana Ports Authority. I will do anything to avoid poverty and i will not let group think hold me or my children down. Wallow in poverty and hate all you want all in the name of ideology. That's not my portion.

The reality is, their policies benefits me, and my situation.
I do not hold an emotional attachment the the GOP. As long as my needs are getting met financially, I'm going to roll with them. The democrats aren't fighting for me, in my opinion.
