Yeah, I don't agree with banks not doing business with him. On one hand, stuff like that has been used against racist and white supremacist organizations, but usually those organizations sole purpose is spreading racism and promoting the oppression of others. His business is shoes or whatever, he just happens to be the owner and have a shit opinion, I don't see that as the same thing.
That said, everyone knows that people will jump at a chance of making an example out of a black person, so he has no one to blame but himself. Are any of those same businesses refusing to do business with Candace and her husband tho?

And let's be real, if Kanye's single tweet can lead to a wave of anti-Semitic harassment what would happen if he wasn't dropped? What would happen if he wasn't banned from social media?
It would embolden more people to make similar comments and more people to act on them. Each one escalating from the last.

That said, if you really want to attack a Jewish owned company that's monopolizing the business without being anti-Semitic here's how you do it.

I was just about to respond to this and saw that @Darrkman has already done it properly. Dude, if Kanye West is a nobody, that you don't care about, why are you so passionate in this thread? I'm quite passionate about his irresponsible statements because they give racists plenty of justification to do black people harm. Now if you don't care about him you shouldn't have a dog in this fight at all.
My point is that Kanye said something incredibly harmful. As a long time public figure and songwriter he knew better than anyone else just how harmful those words could be.
He also knows how to open up a dialogue. Back in the mid 2000s when hip-hop was hyper materialistic he released "All falls down" and started changing the conversation.
For whatever reason all of that flew out the window when he grabbed his phone last week and went on a blind rage tweet about the stuff that was pissing him off at that moment.
Kanye doesn't have a long history of anti-semitism, but he does have a long history of sudden outbursts. For whatever reason the people who should be helping him control these impulses and protect his image have all left the building.

Ok, there's a lot to unpack here. Let me first say that you're not all the way wrong. My guess is that we're from two different generations. I was born in 1970 and grew up in the era of conscious rap and a resurgence of the teachings of Malcolm X so if Kanye West is trying to expose "the man" and shine a light on the "powers that be", he can save his breath on Gen Xers. We already know. Also if his sole purpose is to expose then he's woefully unqualified to do so. You don't bring down a system by shitting on your base. That fact alone tells me his motives are NOT altruistic. This nigga just thinks he's a lot smarter than he is. He's been very lucky and has a huge army of idiots that parrot his foolishness. It just so happens he's in the right place at the right time to move a large number of the right people. I'm 52 years old, I've knew about the Jews and there "not so hidden" hand when Kanye west was in elementary school. That clown can't teach me shit.
