Luda might don't have a lot of gigs as an actor but dude is a solid actor especially the movies that top the box office he was in.

I can't take nobody seriously as a black man that discredit luda as a rapper like he's trash or the fact they think nobody listens to him on BGOL.

Now Cube, the execs, producers etc.... may have told Rickey the role was his (for whatever reason), but after 201 auditions Katt really wowed them and he got the role.

Rickey tells the story like the role was stolen from him by Katt and he was relegated to a scrap part. Katt tells it like, it was up for grabs and I grabbed it and I had no knowledge of the Santa part. (Rickey's manager even says the studio sent out partial scripts for the Money Mike role)

I think there is a bit of semantics at play. But also Gary Owen said it, this was the role that defined Katt. Katt had so much shit going on behind the scenes around the time of that role, so for RS to tell the story that way. He took it very personal.

There was a switch. Rickey was switched to Santa because Katt killed the audition and got the part of the pimp.

His interviews appear to regularly get over a million views, even with some D-List celebrities.

His Steve Harvey interview from 8 months ago has 8.9 million views, his Rickey Smiley interview from 10 months ago has 3.1 million views, and the Cedric the Entertainer interview from 1 year ago had 1.2 million views.

At the rate this Katt interview is going it might have all of those beat combined in days lol.

Exactly. Only the people directly involved knows the truth. Everyone else will never know the truth unless there is hard evidence. The internet sees the drama and that is what's drawing the audience.

How can you believe anything Katt says? I don’t think the point of the video was to even shit on Cedric. I think it was a release to shit on Dave’s special that came out 2 days prior. I think Katt thinks he can usurp Dave’s spot in the culture by playing to all their fears. Folks in our community love half truths with a side of phony sanctimony.

I would've agree with ya statement if those same people didn't publicity disrespect katt through the years because he's keeping it real and calling the ones who shitted on him out back then and rightfully so....
