Stealing a joke that's tailored to your type of comedy is flat out stealing cause everyone knows JB's style,he's all over the stage as appose to someone like Katt who isn't that energetic,loud and he doesn't run with the joke like JB would;JB can start off with a joke,hit and add it to another joke before closing his set,Katt isn't doing no shit like that.

Now there is a such thing as borrowing and I might even give that to Katt because Bernie did it with Bebe's kids but he turned it into his own and but the problem is this,THEIR EGO'S wont allow them to say what they did and or mention anothers comedians name,including Bernie.So they steal,take and some more shit.

Understood. Comedians gonna shit on each other... They shit on everybody.... Lol. They rework and edit each other's jokes. Their human. There has to be reasons as to why so many comedians has shitted on him.Obviously they respect him but I think Kat was telling them some real shit. And that didn't work for them.... everyone's journey is different. At some point I need to research is there another comedian that feels like everybody has shitted on them. Sometimes you gotta look in the mirror

That old footage was from early in his career, prior to his growth and before he had something called creative control. When Chappelle expressed the reasons why he left the show, including, pushing back against execs wanting him to wear a dress, among a number of other things, that Chappelle disagreed with in expressing his art. Those "Why did you leave the show" interviews had nothing to do with some of the old roles he played, to address specifically.

The "never wore a dress" or "never played a female role" was not something Dave ever said in the first place. I don't find what Dave did not say to be confusing at all.

In general, folks get things wrong, like some of the commentors in that same tweet, incorrectly stating that Dave lied about not getting royalties. Just making up shit with ASSumptions.

This dress stuff is funny. I could do without Tyler Perry. But the shit Martin, Jamie and Rickey Smiley did is funny as fuck. Great memorable characters for our people. Kat didn't wanna do those... that's cool. But having feelings cause it worked great for someone else. Nahhhh.

I’ll excuse any and everything when it comes to us. But when you’re on top of the world and you take a job that says you’re an aide to a rich white man, I get a little uneasy. By ability to ignore certain behaviors just disappears.
